Which, is probably not true though, because I'm sure there's plenty of undeveloped towns people have, especially if they're new; however, I never came across one so far. Everyone's town is just so organized, clean and beautiful! x"D

I really do admire them! They are definitely an inspiration to me. I can't wait until I finally get to lay out some nice, quality paths and neatly arrange my flowers. I'm sure I'll get there eventually.

But yeah, I just wanted to say that a lot of you are doing a great job at keeping your towns in top shape!
Keep up the awesome work you ACNL nerds. ;)

I feel the exact same way but I'm sure it takes time and patience for everyone else to get their towns looking so amazing. I can't wait to proudly present my town when it's finished!

Yeah me too. I guess it just that time when you feel like your town is finally coming together.

I consider my town to be ugly. I try to landscape but I have kind of a bad layout, and I think I'm too far in to reset now. I'll see what I can pull out when all my dreamies are living here.

lmao not me.

My town right now is very rundown, and very empty. But I'm waiting for all 10 dream villagers to be achieved, before I actually start to decorate.

A lot of planning, dedication, patience and time was spent creating my little town of Eden. And after nearly 3 years I still find things to improve upon.

My town is actually pretty ugly ^^; i tried laying out the same type of flower everywhere but i got too impatient. I don't like seeing empty spots beside my paths ;-;

I'm right there with you c: I've had my town, Glendale, for about two and a half years, and I still change things up. Eventually I get bored with the town all together, tear down all my pwps, rebuild them and re-landscape everything.

My town is very empty, but I do want to make mine pretty, but the only thing I have doubts on is the locations of everything

I have three towns, and only one is complete. It's mainly a laziness issue, but it'salso because I don't know what to do, design-wise.

I envy people who are able to do these really beautiful and unique town layouts.

You should see mine ;) some people are so wonderfully creative. They can just envisage something and make it work. I'm terribly uninspiring with this sort of thing.
In theory it should be great, I have hundreds of hybrids of every colour, I have every pwp unlocked, have mushrooms and clovers and perfect fruit trees galore. Even have brilliant villagers who are all in decent spots. I just don't think it flows well at all though...might put my dream address up at some point, just wary of people telling me what I already think about my town ;)

I just recently started fixing mine. It's dedication.
And I still tweak with things I feel like need a fixing.

atm I'm holding a load of stuff for my friend in my town so it is an absolute tip! however I do have paths n flowers etc arranged in my town so when it's not being used to hold storage it looks really nice. i felt the way you do about your town for a long time, but you just have to persevere and get to work on making it look better! once you have an idea/theme in your head- there is no stopping u from achieving that dream town :) good luck!

I feel the exact same way.. whenever I visit dream towns i'm always thinking "why can't I get my town like this?!? they're using the exact same landscaping materials as me, yet their town looks a thousand times better." So for that reason i've stopped visiting dream towns since it makes me very tempted to delete but instead i've tried to create my town with my own vision in mind without having influence from other towns if that makes sense..? because I want to see if I can try to create a town that is fully my own, no matter how badly it's going or how badly I think it is going. I do envy people who can pick any random map and still make it work, even if you have a similar map to them they can make it look like a completely different map. I really like the forest towns because you can make them look so wide and spacious with the cedar trees.. it's really pretty. My town is beginning to become cramped with public work projects, but that's how I like it. I think that the sooner you stop keep comparing your town to others towns the happier you'll be with it. Atleast i've tried to do that. :)

My town is far from beautiful q,q I was veery oblivious for a long time so I don't have a very good layout (imo) and the permanent pwps I sort of placed randomly and I would sprint everywhere! In fact it's only recently I've come to realize the consequences of my ignorant and destructive actions but I'm too far in to reset (especially since I've got my hands on some dreamies) so I hope with time & dedication I can learn & beautify my town till it's a sight I can be pleased with!

I'm in the same situation.

I'm in the same situation.

Me too. My resetti is in a horrible place, and villager houses are random. I don't really mind, but I do wonder what it would be like if I planned everything out like the dream villages.

I think that those who put dream villages up are usually the ones who planned and put a ton of time and effort in deliberately, and those who don't probably are less likely to have dream addresses. That's why it seems like everyone's town is amazing.

My town is a basic and messy town, but I'm working with what I have and maybe someday it will be finished enough for a dream address.

I've never plot reset in my town (which is almost finished, landscaping wise); I just let my villagers move wherever they wanted to. Plot resetting is definitely not necessary for a great looking town (not that mine is perfect or anything xD).

If I can give just a bit of advice to everyone struggling with their town: start by building all the pwps you want and moving all your dreamies in before you start landscaping everything, that way you don't have to worry about new move-ins appearing and killing your flowers, trees, shrubs and bamboo. If you know you want certain pwps in certain spots, build those before you move your dreamies in, then (whether you choose to plot reset or not) move them in and start landscaping around their houses and pwps.

If anyone is interested, I could compose a guide on how I made my town, how I landscaped everything, and how I filled most of the space in my town along with any other tips I have. Let me know ^.^ And feel free to check out my dream address if you want to see my town.
