I met Dan and Phil, Jack and Dean, TomSka and a few other YouTubers at the BBC six months ago. I got to sit down, talk to them, and interview them. I was trying not to freak out about meeting them, and I got a few photos with them (the photo with Jack and Dean was deleted, but I still have their signatures)
A certain someone close to me neglected the opportunity to meet Paloma Faith (one of my idols), and I once seen Gordon Ramsay hanging around outside some restaurants, but I never got a chance to speak to him. Other than that, I can't really recall ever meeting someone famous.
my mom used to work at a fancy hotel so she got to meet and talk to all kinds of famous people, including the guys from Mariana's Trench and some other band members who were staying there for like, warped tour or something like that way back in 2011.
also when i was like 10 I got to say hi to Tyra Banks lol.
Well, not with anyone any of you would know, just Dutch people. I don`t really care much for celebrities anyways though. Although meeting Gordon Ramsay would be cool.
I've interviewed/done press for multiple artists related to K-pop, K-indie, and K-hip hop The people I've met have all been pretty normal, and my fangirl phase was yeaaars ago so I don't have any problem with getting star struck.
The only time I was actually extremely excited and elated after meeting a celebrity was an actor I had a huge crush on in elementary school LOL. He's been doing lots of lesser known, indie films, so when he came to my city for a film festival I went to the red carpet and met him Not a lot of people there, so he went to everyone and was able to sign and take a photo with me! (Actually two, because the first one was very badly lit because the light was behind us, so he suggested we take another the other way ;-; ) I was shaking with happiness... for my inner 8 year old LOL
Back in November (the 19th, 2 days from the 21st, keep that in mind) I went to a Toys R Us and I met someone from Nintendo. He was setting up an Amiibo stand. He let me play his 3DS XL and his 2DS. He gave me badges, stickers, and a Pokemon art academy sketch pad.
I guess this doesn't really count, but the guy who plays the son from Breaking Bad went to our homecoming dance one year. I saw him from a distance but I just assumed he looked kind of similar to the guy on the show and walked away lol.
I met Lady Gaga about a year ago on her way out from a show. She stopped for a few lucky fans, including me ! I also met Lana Del Rey in june after waiting hours to get a really good spot (i was even the first fan to line up); at the end of the show, she went down the stage to meet few fans from the first row and she kissed me on the cheeks and we got a pict .
A few weeks ago Takashi Murakami when he premiered his first film. Omg he was pretty goofy.
Then a week later I had lunch at the same restaurant as Adam Sandler. I didn't meet him though lol. But I was actually starstruck. His the first actor I've seen irl that I recognized without someone having to tell me who it was. Though I almost didn't recognize him bc he looked so old.
I've met Ken Dodd (comedian...lovely gent), Ken Moreley (he played Reg Holdsworth in Coronation Street years ago), Some of the Grimsby Town Fc wembley 98 soccer/football team (including my favourite Peter Handyside <3) and that's about it sadly .
