Ever had a dreamie move in and feel like they ruined everything?

Hooboy. I just had Chadder move in, finally. And Itotally forgot to plot reset with him! So now he's crushing all my perfect apple trees, and he's right at the tail end of my tree orchard, so now it's completely muddled up from how I wanted it to be and I can't even build around him because he's right on the path where I would be planting new trees.

Similarly, before I had a full village, I tried to plot reset to get some dreamies for myself without having to bother everyone for them. It turned out Anabelle moved in one day after six plot resets. Her house was unfortunately in a terrible spot, but she wasn't someone I invited from someone else's town, and I wasn't cycling a set personality, so I wasn't likely to be getting her again if I had reset, so most unfortunately, I had to save her where she was.

She hasn't completely messed anything up, but boy, she's so unaligned with the other houses that my OCD is totally stressing now.

So, have you ever had a situation like this? Where a dreamie moved in, and you just kind of want to throw them out because they're messing you up?

My friend is really great, and is planning to hold onto my dreamies in his cycling town whenever they ping me so I can move them back in once they ping him again, so I can plot - reset and get them where I want them all, this time. And hopefully I can build some PWPs in the places their old houses are, since a lot of them happen to be in spots I want PWPs. Sheesh.

i forgot to plot reset for a few of my villagers, but surprisingly all of them ended up in a PERFECT spot, especially merengue.
stitches is a small annoyance but i can deal with it

Chester in Eternia, like you I forgot to plot reset and he ended up in the middle of my normal fruit tree orchard. I've since managed to work it around him, but it still looks odd on the map as he's not in a group like the other houses!
Getting Clay has made it look slightly less odd though, as he's not in a group of houses either.

Chester is here, then Clay is on the same line about this far away.......................................................................here.
That probably makes no sense lol.

And Lolly in Hobbiton, she wasn't a dreamie but I thought she was sweet, she landed in the middle of my perfect fruit orchard so I let her go!

When Mira moved in I forgot to plot reset her, she took out half my bushes surrounding orange and pink hybrids and the illuminated heart; luckily she didn't take out any hybrids. I had to dig out the remaining bushes and it looks so disproportional now.

Before I knew how to plot reset, yeah, kind of. I hadn't planned out any landscaping and was just randomly throwing PWPs everywhere so I wasn't too miffed at the time, but now Pekoe is the only one not in a proper "grouping" of houses, just living by her lonesome next to my lighthouse... and it's kinda weird, but I'm trying to just pretend it's because she likes solitude and reading by the ocean or something. It fits the normal personality well enough.

Yes I?ve had that happen too! Though my dreamie villager didn`t ruin everything, he only ruined my campsite area, moving in close in front of it. Now I?m used to this sorry sight and I?m okay with it. Good luck with cycling and with your town plans!

That happened to me with Fauna. She moved in an awkward place but she eventually moved. *sheds tear* If I get her again, I'm for sure going to plot reset her.

Yeah, I used to have Stitches as one of my dreamies until I got him as a starter villager. Then I went to his house and heard K.K. Lullaby playing. I ended up resetting, like, a week later because the song got stuck in my head and I had nightmares about Stitches. Now I'm absolutely terrified of him and his freaking house.

Back in the WIP days, I didn't know how to plot reset, but most of my villagers plotted near the bottom cliff, so it looks like a little neighborhood :) Mint, however, chose to plot in the tiny area above the river at the top of my map. I was a little upset at first, but I've worked around it and I really like the area around it now :] So I guess I don't have any bad stories about dreamies moving in...yet.

Not really as I knew all about plot-resetting before I started obtaining all of my dreamies (apart from Beau, but he moved into a nice location anyway). The only problem I had with a dreamie was with Kiki & this was due to my town being mostly full of other dreamies already, & with me being me, I had most of my landscaping done & had to ruin a little bit of it for her to move in, so I wasn't completely satisfied with where I had to put her.

Now, though, I'm not too bothered with where her house is & actually really like it as it's a bit different being slightly in the middle of things. ^-^

I hadn't started landscaping just yet but I had my house perfectly lined up so I could walk down straight towards the bridge AND THEN, this cat has her plot RIGHT OUTSIDE MY HOUSE. I was mad for a bit and then thought it wasn't a huge loss since I could just place the path around it AND THEN, someone else puts her house next to the cat. So basically, the animals wanted to be complete jerks and block me off from the bridge.

I wanted Shari so bad, but then she moved smack dab in the middle of a bunch of my hybrids and paths. I kept on hitting her with the net until she moved away :(
