Ever bury 99,000 bells in a glowing spot?

Please don't tell me I'm the only one! I might seem stupid, but I've done it like twice now and I hate it lol. I try grabbing the money bag to 'put away' but hit bury instead. Ofc I'll try to reset but dumb autosave says "lol nope"

You have a 30% of getting 3x 99k money bags when you bury 99k. But the other 70% of the time you'll only get 3x 10k money bags. It's a lot better to just bury 10k every time. You're guaranteed to get 3x 10k every single time.

Based on computations I did using expected value, it seems like you’ll be making the most profit by burying 10k every time.

It sounds like you do the same thing I do which is hit that A button too quickly. I haven’t buried 99k (yet) but I have covered up the hole or only buried 1k on many occasion. My husband doesn’t game so just thinks I’m weird when I groan out loud over the stupid stuff I do.

There’s no real point in planting more than 10k unless there’s an actual proven pattern and even then it’s more trouble than I’m willing to deal with. If I plant 10k everyday that makes 140k profit a week guaranteed if you plant 99k then your taking a risk that you may or may not get it back. It’s like the lottery once every now and then sure 10+ a day no thanks would rather spend the bells on something useful.

I could see accidentally burying the 1k you get from the hole back in and missing out on burying 10k, but you can't even put a 99k bag away in your wallet so I don't know why you would even be touching a 99k bag next to the hole.

I suppose if you have over max money it’s possible I’ve done the 1k before.

Wow, you all should quit lecturing and just let the guy admit to making a mistake when accidentally burying 99k. I’m sure everyone has done something they didn’t intend in this game simply because of not paying adequate attention or just moving too fast. I just do bell trees for looks so i only ever bury 100 bells

I try to hit "put away" on my 99k money cause my wallet is too empy to take 10k out but accidentally hit "bury in hole" which was first option.
