Event occuring on the wrong day?

Hi, I noticed in my cycling town that Explorers Day is occurring on the 14th rather than the 13th as it's supposed to. No matter how many times I go back and forth due to TT, it occurs on the 14th every time.

I traveled on my son's system to move a villager in, and his was on the 13th as expected. Not a big deal, but anyone know why?

My 3DS clock is accurate.

Are you sure the clock is accurate? The only explanation would be that it's set to a different year.
Explorer's Day = Columbus Day irl

Columbus day is on the 13th in 2014, but not every year c:

It might be set to 2024? Columbus day is on the 14th that year

For me I once got Bunny Day on April Fools day in my cycling town, I'm guessing since we are exploiting the game with Time Travel, System time travel and other things, maybe it gets the dates messed up. I've had Explorer day on the 14th aswell. It's odd lol

I'm sure, I checked since it was my first thought as to what the problem might be. Everything A-ok there.

So it's 2014 on both the system clock and the in-game clock?

They are both 2014. I'll have to see what happens in my main town since I haven't TT there in awhile.
