Erik or Beau? Which lazy deer do you prefer?

On a sad Spring day last year, I visited Erik to find him in boxes. Gosh that stung. None of the other villagers told me he was thinking of moving and Erik himself never pinged me to tell me he was thinking of moving. So... he left. And I chose Dotty to be the new 10th villager. Who decided to place her house right in front of one of my bridges (grrrrr).

Then the Welcome amiibo update happened and I went out and bought a bunch of series 1-4 card packs and was lucky enough to get Beau. I found him cute, especially in action when I visited someone's dream address on here. That sold me and I finally kicked Dotty out of my town.

Having had both deer, I pretty much think they are even in their cuteness. I had no idea these characters were so high in the popularity tier lists either.

Which one do you like more?

This is a hard one. Erik has been in my town since day one and I love him, though I really like Beau too! I've never had him, but I love his design and his sleepy little face. I think part of me is more biased towards Erik thanks to sentimental attachment, but I think both are equally adorable. They're probably my favourite deer villagers.

Erik, he's a current resident in my town Moonview. I had Beau once I didn't like him so much and he was a voided villager.

Beau.. he's golden and his eyes look better than Erik's although they're both cute ;0;

I have had both in my town and can say that I prefer Beau as I like the sweeter forest deer look with the curly horns of Beau more than the large moose/caribou design that Erik has... Also I love how his name means Beautiful in French so I can give him greetings like "Bonjour" and catchphrases like "ami". This makes him more personal to me so I have to say, he is a very special resident of Rainfall (Though I always love seeing Erik in the shopping district!)
