I’m not too good with names, so about about something cozy, like Oakshire? Something that goes with whatever you think makes you comfortable on your island.
I like to pick a town name that will be the tree to sprout my characters names from. Right now my town is Moonstone, and main character is Opal. Other characters will be gemstone names as well. It would be fun to pick something that you can easily branch with.
I think it would be cool if you did “Hyacinth”. Everything else could be similarly botanically named, and it’s a fun nod to the new flower that NH brought us!
This probably sounds really dumb but how about Anel Fortuna? You could probably mix up the letters a bit but I used the acronym method + mixing letters around to make it sound nice to create it. Feel free to try it out! (Thanks for the giveaway btw <3)
Mine is currently Kahlúa, as I love the name of it and have always been enticed by the liqueur despite not being old enough in my country to drink.
What about something coffee related? As Kahlúa is a coffee-based liqueur. Maybe Macchiato? Or Espresso Isle (if that fits)? What about somethin' like Java Isle? :3
I really like the Macchiato idea. If you want your town/island to be cozy themed, DEFINITELY go for something cozy-feeling, like a Macchiato c:
I like the idea of something like Reverie.
Since it means lost in your thoughts or daydreaming, you could make it fit any theme. A fantasy town, a nice town with a darker undertone, an island trapped in time, or anything like that.
I think translated names are cool. I searched around, and I found a name that could go with any theme: cottagecore, spooky, normal, etc. So the name is Stadt, and it is German for "city". You could add "-berg" for Stadtberg to add more flare
not quite sure what theme you were going for, but i thought Crimson would be a cute town name! its a unique town name that i thought had a little aesthetic feel to it.
Thanks for the giveaway Antonio! This is extremely generous of you . How about Wisteria? It means immortality and long life. I think a lot can go with it; you could make it go with old village type of theme, fantasy, medieval or a mixture. Or you can do something that doesn’t play with the name’s meaning at all.
I’m someone who likes simple names that sound really good, so I’m going to suggest Hayes! I’m not sure what it means, but my friend goes by that nickname and it sounds really really cool. It sounds like Hades but, like, with a twist. I feel it’s a good name for any theme, you could go cozy cottage theme or black and edgy and the name still fits.
Thank you for this giveaway! Regardless what name you pick, I hope you have fun on your new island c:
(I think it should be mentioned but I believe the character limit for island names is 10 letters!)
