Ending session?

Is it an unspoken rule to end the session after a trade? I always feel like it is rude to do so and like to let them leave on their own lol. What do you do?

It's kinda awkward if I don't end it myself so I always say bye and end it for the most part haha

I've always felt weird doing this too even though I say goodbye. I feel that whoever I trade with is trustworthy enough and they can get on the train at their own pace. Then I also remember that they might be busy and it might be quicker? But I pretty much just do it because that's how everyone else seems to do it when I go to their towns.

I always end the session once I'm done, hope nobody thinks I'm rude, haha. I have cut somebody off before now when they're mid sentence and I feel bad afterwards. It's just faster, I always add a smiley or something And I never know whether to leave on the train or wait for somebody to end the session when I'm in their town.

It does feel weird! When I first started trading, I would wait until I got some sort of confirmation from the other person before I ended. And since usually, people expect you the automatically end it took a long time lol. But yeah, I what do now is thank the person and tell them bye or that I'm going to end. Just don't think too much about it, I've been on both sides and neither the host or the trader really care that much.

I feel like it's fine if at least each other says thanks and bye before leaving, but I have definitely gotten cut off once or twice and felt like it was slightly rude haha.. it's not like a big deal though yanno

It's quicker tho.
You can let them leave and close your gates all in one.
As long as you don't just randomly end or cut them off, I feel like it's fine.

Ask it we are good. Once they say okay I'll let them know I'm ending the session.
It's faster so less chance of Resetti showing up.

Most people expect it. Easier for both parties. Don't feel bad. Just make sure to leave time for byes and thank yous.

It actually feels weird if the person whose town youre in doesnt end the session quickly cause I think "maybe they dont know about the end session and want me to take the train back and think Im weird to just stand there after I say bye" lol
Whenever someone is in my town I cancel immediately so there is no awkwardness.

I'm always relieved when a host ends the session because I don't want to take too long getting back to the station or have to walk slow so I don't trample flowers. Same goes for when I'm hosting, ending the session is easy AS LONG AS you say a nice goodbye and thank you! If you end without doing that, or on weird terms I think it's rude (if the transaction/visit was also weird!)

When I was running my hybrid flower shop I would say stuff like: Thanks for coming. Take care. I'll send you now. All right after each other really xD.
Then I would send them home, personally I like it when people send me home themselves... because I'm lazy and just want to be send home the easiest way. I never experienced that as weird way of ending a session and I had completed so many trades.

I find it awkward if I am hosting it and don't end the session. The visitor just kinda waits awkwardly and then if I don't seem to be ending it, they head toward the train station. Ending it myself is just faster.

Of course I don't end it without saying thanks for trading and have a nice day. ^^

I think it's just fine to end the session yourself! As long as you say bye and not just randomly kick visitors out But jokes aside, I personally like it better to end the session myself then to wait for the other to leave. It just seems a bit awkward to wait x3

I have been pretty active in the turnip selling business and I also had a pretty popular flower shop at a time and had lots of people coming and going in my town. In my experience ending the session was just fine and I never heard any complaints from disgruntled visitors.
