I don't think it's going to take very long to reach the 800 post mark. Weve already added 100 posts since I first came in yesterday

Mentally preparing myself for going back to school after a month off

@Barbara: That's pretty much me too. I should be studying. Aaaaand... I'm cycling and trawling TBT

@meowlerzz: Why a month?

Wow, that's quite a break. I get four weeks off for Christmas but we started back on January 4th.

4 weeks wow that's a lot I've never had that for Christmas before. Usually I got off like a couple of days before Christmas and went back January 2nd

Christmas break is two weeks here. If you're from the soutern hemisphere though, you have your summer break in December/January and that includes Christmas.

It all depends on when my exams are. Usually end of term isn't official until the third week of December but classes end the first week and everything in between is exams. I'm an English major, so I usually have term papers instead of exams, so I'll be done all my work pretty early on in the month.

This term though I have four exams in the exam period so I won't be so lucky.

Ah I see, my finals were pretty early last semester, I got to leave after the first week. This time around I think it's the same.

That's the best, getting out early. Although for some classes I could use the extra time to study... the worst is when it's a really tough class, and the exam is right at the end of term. D:

Definitely! I hated it so much that the class I was struggling with the most was one of the first finals I had to take. My easiest class was last. I especially hate when they give early finals for classes that start later in the day.

D: I know that feeling. I took a night class last term, and they'd scheduled the final for 8:30 AM. It didn't make any sense.

I go out of my way to schedule my classes so I don't have anything before 10 am, because I can't get to campus that early, I live in the next city over and have an hour-long commute by bus... but I can't leave until 8:30 because I have to get my kids to school. Good luck using that as a reason to reschedule an exam, though. They do not care.
