The Wii U wasn't such a success (/a failure) for Nintendo, which means they have to move on to get more success with their new console. They are actually doing quite a lot for the Wii U, considering this will probably be its 'last year'.
About people to play with, do mean in real-life? If so, I feel your pain. The 3DS and Wii U aren't as popular as I wish they were - like the DS and the Wii were. (I mean, everybody had one) Most people into gaming have a PS4, or a Xbox One/PC. I hope the NX will make Nintendo worthy again and they will actually have competition with the other platforms. I know a lot of people have lost faith in Nintendo, and it would be great if they could regain that with the coming NX.

What games can you recommend to me? I only have a 3DS at the moment, and I think I should try out a few new game series. I'm familiar with Zelda, Pokemon and Mario (who isn't?) but other than that I'm a bit unliteral in terms of games. Any suggestions?

I'm the same way - familiar with Zelda, Pok?mon, and Mario, but not much else. Have you ever tried out Luigi's Mansion? My sister bought it for me for Christmas one year - I don't play it much but I do enjoy it

(sorry this convo is long gone) I never have people in real life to play with. I have a few Smash buddies, but that game really isn't fun unless the friend is with you (so you can rub it in when you win heheh) I have an xbox one too, so I use that to play with people when I want to be social and game.
I really hope people can take the next nintendo console seriously...or at least, I hope it has enough hype to get more people to want it I remember Splatoon had a ton of hype, but it kinda died down too quickly to make an impact on the sales of the Wii U ...

Yeah, his design really annoyed me at first... but I found him in a dream town, and i don't know, something about him appealed to me. I'm thinking of putting him in my second town

What is Yo-Kai Watch about? I've heard some people talk about it, but I don't really know about the game. I thought it was anime-like though, and I'm not really into that sort of things. I really shouldn't prejudge though. ;D
