emulated town on citra

Hey guys, i was thinking in using my computer to emulate a secondary town on citra for villager hunting, did someone ever used this method? it works?

Downloading distributed ROMs is illegal. Do you really think putting out the risk is worth it?

If you're planning to cycle villagers you can do that legally with powersaves.

i have villagers that i love and dont wanna use tt on my main village, thats why i wanted to create a secondary village for cycling

Reasons or not, downloading a ROM for use in emulation is illegal... if you want a second town that badly, you can just find a used/new copy of ACNL to purchase.
