I decided to make this because one of my favorite villagers recently ended up being an elephant villager, and it got me thinking about how the elephants as a whole are unpopular. Elephants used to be my favorite animal as a kid, and some of the villagers within the species are really cute! It'd be nice to see more love for them on this board (or less popular species/villagers in general) than seeing tons of appreciation posts of the same few villagers!

Personally, my favorite elephant is Tia! I love tea and teapots, so this was easy. When I saw her on a mystery island I knew I had to have her and now she is quickly becoming one of my favorite villagers! Other elephants I really like are Ellie & Margie! I've been kinda surprised to see Margie isn't more popular as a result of the WW movie!

Who are your favorite elephants and why? Also what are suggestions you'd have to make the elephant species more popular? (

I think it'd be better if some of them didn't have lopsided mouths because I've seen people complain about that and it turn them off from getting elephants they otherwise like!

cyd is my personal favourite, and my favourite of the 8 new villagers, he just has such a cool design and looks great from the side
 
I didn't know they weren't popular - for me they are top tier. My favourite villager of all time is Dizzy, because of his simple design and cute nature, and I've had him in every town since the DS. Margie and Tia are also favourites and I have all three of the mentioned elephants in new horizons.

None of the other elephants are dreamies, but Ellie and Chai are nice. Big Top is basically just Dizzy in a costume haha.
 
I forgot about Ellie too. I didn't even know she existed up until New Horizons, but she is SO CUTE!!! ❤
 
Elephants are my favourite animal so I was excited when Margie came to my campsite. It was really easy to win her too with her card game. I tried with another villager before and it was impossible to win.
 
I don't understand how people don't love the elephants so I don't know how to suggest making changes so they'd be more popular (unless maybe to change their town tune). Eloise is my favorite elephant I think. I had Tucker and he's pretty great too.
 
I have Tucker and his uniqueness as a wooly mammoth has really grown on me.

I wish other male elephants had tusks though.

Also, I've never been a fan of their ears. I wish they were more upright and fan-shaped like real elephants.
 
i am sad to say that i forgot elephants even existed until i saw dizzy in a villager hunt stream. the streamer passed them up but omg i was surprised there were cute elephants!!
 
I had Paolo who moved on a few days ago. He didn't say alot and used to come out at night. Ellie is still with me and she's very kind hearted.
 
I don’t personally have an elephant but my hubby has Axel on his island and hes nice. I will say that I love tias design. She looks so cute.
