elder scrolls online!

Elder scrolls online is coming out pretty soon. Has anyone on here pre-ordered it or is planning on getting it when it comes out? Also, have you played any previous elder scrolls games? If so, whats your favorite race? Mine's either Khajit or Altmer. Altmer because I love elfs, Khajiit because its the best for a thief player and one-handed/bow is my favorite way to play. c:

I have played previous Elder Scrolls games; my first was Oblivion on PS3 then Skyrim on PS3 although I also got that on Xbox 360 due to the PS3 issues, then I got the PC premium edition so I could mess around with mods. I also managed to get a copy of Morrowind GOTY edition for PC. I usually play as a Breton Mage, Imperial warrior, or Bosmer thief/archer.

Yeah, skyrim on ps3 does have a lot of issues like the majorly long load times -__-. Also the graphics on 360 are better. Imperials are definitely my favorite human race. I like bosmer a lot too though. Have you seen any character customization youtube videos for bosmer for eso? They have like weird antlers now :0

Do you plan on getting elder scrolls online? I know a lot of people aren't because of the monthly fee and what not.

Yes unfortunately it seemed to have many issues on PS3, the bugs plus lack of DLC for so long pushed me to getting Skyrim on Xbox, good decision as it turned out.

As I said I am playing online on PC , Elder Scrolls online has been out on PC for a while. I brought the Imperial Edition and to me it was worth the money; the statue is pretty cool as is the other physical content, I wanted to be an Imperial and the rings of Mara bonus content is nice, plus the Imperial horse really helped early on in the game.

Oh sorry i didn't catch that when you said you've been playing it on pc >.< lol. Would you say eso is better than skyrim?? how is all the individual places, like is elsweyr all jungle like and is hammerfell super desert-y? Like is the land everywhere really diverse or what? I'm hoping there is a lot to explore, haha. I can't wait till it comes out for ps4.

I'm pretty disappointed with the lack of things to do in this game, and it's $15 a month so I say **** this game, play skyrim.

Lol that's cool, and I'd say no ESO is not as good as Skyrim. It's very different and sometimes a bit frustrating compared to a normal Elder Scrolls game. I haven't explored all provinces (and I'm actually unsure which ones are currently unlocked or if they all are, I haven't played in a while due to real life getting in the way) but the places I've been seem good graphics wise. Exploring can be a problem due to many others doing the same, you also have to wait your turn to do things during quests. In this game you are one of many, and tbh I prefer the solitary dungeons and empty wilderness of Skyrim.

One small question, if I install ESO now but I don't register it to my account or play it until the end of June will my 30 days free still count down? I would like to install it now but I won't do it if I will lose the majority of my free time before I'm allowed to play it... (I want to start playing as soon as I get home from my last exam )

I'm so tempted to download the game next week though, I have a 2 week gap between my exams and I'm just itching to play ESO in my revision breaks I found a guild that I'm planning to join when I start playing: (http://ocheeva.tumblr.com/post/85820705861/after-yet-another-discussion-in-guild-chat-that)
It is a safe space for women (White and cis), LGBTQA+, POC, etc. as the creator had experienced oppressive stuff on ESO in her last guild. It is an EU server guild though.

I'm planning to main as a Breton in the Daggerfall Covenant (Bit boring I know) but I have the explorer's pack so my Alts will be different races in a different faction, e.g. Argonian in the Aldmeri Dominion. I'm also probably going to upgrade to the Imperial Edition as a birthday present for myself

EDIT: Another question... How long did it take you to download and install the game? I gave up on downloading the beta when I got into it as it took more than two days and kept crashing... Hopefully it won't take to long as I'll be downloading overnight... (Argh the temptation to start downloading this game is so strong, its just sitting there on my desk... taunting me...)

Pretty sure the 30 days start from registration of the product, could be wrong though my memory is shocking .

Explorers pack is pretty cool, I have it . Imperial Edition allows you to join any faction already but I like the maps. I use my mudcrab pet though that came with my Imperial edition rather than the explorer pack one, I just think it's funny to be followed around by a mudcrab . Some people who beta tested have a cool monkey pet. I currently play in the Aldmeri Dominion.

I just took out the disk- Wait there is four disks! Wha- I've never installed a game with more than one disk! I might start installing tonight then... It looks like it might take a while...

EDIT: Okay, I put the first disk in, just to have a little nosey at the installer and see if there are any instructions- I won't start the download yet... Probably...

I played the beta, and I really liked it! I loved the character customization (except there's not very many voices) and the crafting was my favorite. There were a lot of glitches though, as to be expected. I might not get it very soon though. It's a bit too expensive, especially with the monthly subscription.

I'm going to download my copy on Monday so my free 30 days will last past my final exam but I'm gonna buy a time card some time next week in preparation... Seriously since I don't have to go into college everyday the temptation to download this game has been so strong! I can't watch any YT videos as they are all spoilery and not many people are livestreaming it on Twitch anymore...
