Basically the title. It's Olaf birthday and I really don't like him, but I don't know, it almost feels wrong to miss his birthday lol. Do you celebrate the birthdays of all your villagers? Or just the ones you like?

I celebrate them all. It's never a bad things to collect as many villager photos as you can get and it raises friendship and has a chance of that villager sending you their photo as a thank you the following day (that's how I got Beau's pic).

Villager move outs are completely random. It doesn't matter if you are nice, are mean, or ignore them. Skipping his birthday will not make him more likely to move.
I am pretty sure that paying attention to them or ignoring them makes no difference.
The best way to get rid of an unwanted villager is the Campsite method. Assuming that you are ok with them being replaced by whoever the camper is.

First, wait for a Camper to appear.
Win their game, but don't talk to them again immediately. Exit and enter to force the game to autosave.
Talk to them again, and offer to let them move in. See who they want to kick out. If it is not the Villager who you want gone, close the game from the Switch menu without finishing the conversation and reload. Talk to them again and they should pick a different villager. Repeat until you get the desired villager's name to pop up and accept.

I would never have the heart to do that tbh. I’ll probably go to their birthday and give them wrapped foreign fruit if I don’t have anything else to give them.
Yup, I know ignoring doesn't do anything this time around. I just feel bad ignoring their birthday just because I don't like them (ended up going because I have no backbone lol).
