Dude, where's my NPC?

I've just been walking around my around island, doing a few things I needed to do, and I'm a bit confused now cos I just realised that there is no NPC on my island! I've looked everywhere - nobody at the plaza, nobody on the beaches, no Redd, no Sahara or CJ wandering around anywhere (wouldn't be Flick as she was visiting yesterday). I thought you're meant to get at least one NPC to your island every day, or am I mistaken?

you should. if it's difficult to find it's probably Sahara going around, CJ (he'll always be near a river, check them all), or Gulliver/Gullivarr if you haven't checked all beach area.

Just gotta keep checking, if you have tree clusters make sure to move the camera to check them

Thanks for replying guys. After searching the island twice over, I came out of my Resident Services building and there on the beach was Saharah, no idea where she appeared from!!

I have trouble finding my npc too some days, so don’t feel bad. The wandering npcs drive me crazy sometimes especially when they end up being in an area that I don’t want to be in (such as the area where there is only one or two areas that you can walk).

(and for the longest time I thought flick was a girl as well)

Maybe if you're not seeing anyone the special will be wisp or celeste? idk

I think sometimes Wisp counts as the NPC for the day?? Because one time I could not, for the life of me, find anyone on my island. But then Wisp was there at night.

kicks is an NPC, yes.

wisp and celeste occupy the same visting code, so they will not appear on the same day. however, they do appear on the same days as daily NPC.

yup, I was convinced he was a girl too till saw it mentioned on these forums he was a guy
