Dream Address Time Removal?

How long does it take for a Dream Address to be removed after not updating it for sometime? Does Nintendo remove it manually after a certain time, or is it removed automatic when it reaches whatever time it is?

I'm fairly certain dream addresses are deleted automatically when they haven't been visited in a really long time. I'm not sure how long a time that is, though.

If you have more than one game copy of "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" and more than one 3DS game console, I would suggest interactively visiting between your towns. One town's mayor visits another of your towns. That may be a help.

I don't know. People have had varied reports on this topic. I've never had any of my Dream files deleted from the server personally.

Didn't chuggaaconroy once say that his address changed because his dream was deleted? He's a very popular Youtuber that does Animal Crossing let's plays so I'd assume his town is visited a lot. I'd like to know exactly how it works.

I wish, I only have one copy. Animal Crossing New Leaf is far too expensive where I live to buy another, $80NZD.

I watch Chuggaaconroy's Let's Plays' on Animal Crossing New Leaf, and yes I saw that. He couldn't explain it, the first time it was become he changed consoles, the second time he didn't know. I think there was also a third time and he doesn't explain it as well, both just randomly happening.

Yeah i have no idea why its been changed but my old one wasnt deleted? I visited it its pretty weird dreaming of your own town and talking to yourself

Did you happen to change routers or something when you last updated? I think a different Internet provider might cause an address to change.
I've read that after a week of inactivity, a dream will be removed. I don't remember the source and it was so long ago it's more than likely false. If you regularly update it and/or it's been recently visited, you shouldn't have to worry about it being deleted. I just wish the extra copies of my town would go away already. :/

My JOY town had 1400 visiters.I was getting an average of 25 visits a day, and it was changed.I also updated it a couple times a week.Then my new address was up to 200 visiters, and she changed it again.I don't think anyone is safe.My Critters town has been changed twice as well.

its rare that I get visits. mine gets changed sometimes as well. its really weird.

Mine's never been changed. o: I updated it back in December for the TBT Fair, and then updated it again around the very end of June. I updated it a few times between then and now, and it didn't change then either.

Mine's never changed since I first unlocked the suite and uploaded the dream. I update rarely and only have had 20-ish visits. My boyfriend created his, then it was changed a week later. Now in that time, he did perform a factory reset on his router. I wouldn't think it would affect that though.

My Dream Address was randomly changed once, and I was still frequently updating and being visited. Even though my old address is "gone" I am able to find it and view it in the Dream Suite. So I don't think they ever really go away completely. It's kinda neat when that happens though, because I can now visit my town during what it was like way back in October. Boy it sure is different now!

I believe it is just the time, some towns from August are still there.

I've noticed that mine gets changed for these reasons
- If I haven't updated in a very long time
- If you get a lot of negative comments about your town. Like instead of saying you feel refreshed and you say the negative option, I think it's like nightmare or something, after getting enough of those, your dream town gets removed from the dream database.
