my school has multiple valedictorians which i like, now the worry of not getting it is very low. does your school have multiple ones?

Idk maybe my school is just small, it's like 1200 people, but last year two people were head to head and we only had one valedictorian (his gpa was higher by like 0.001%) but I don't think two have ever been tied.

I'm only a freshman idk what that means

Valedictorian is the student(s) in the graduating class with the highest GPA.
there's also salutatorian, which is the second highest gpa, which may or may not be what the OP was referring to.

We only have one. I kinda feel sorry for them having to constantly be bombarded by expectations and competing for first place while I'm just here doodling all class and not paying attention. xD

there's only one. i could've been one in eighth grade but i apparently didn't make the cut, which is great for me i guess. preparing a speech about my school experience is hard. what is there to say?

My graduating class only had one, even though they caught our valedictorian cheating in 3 of his classes, he still got the title and gave a graduation speech.

I think there was only one when I graduated but we had multiple salutatorians. I can't remember. They all gave speeches and they were long and boring and literally no one cared haha.

In 5th grade, I was salutatorian, but the Librarian's daughter was the valedictorian. I think there was only one for each grade.

back in hs we had two, a guy and a girl bc their avgs were like within 0.1% of each other or something
it's pretty rare though? idk for my school it might've been the first time ever lol

both were really impressive in their own way, the girl was like president of a bunch of clubs and got accepted into every single ivy and the guy was just... really really smart lol I think he was 1 off from a perfect mark on the IB diploma and he had the highest diploma marks in my province

Yes, last year I think there was 2? I'm not sure since I only payed attention to the speech one of my friends gave. There were 4 people giving speeches, but I think 2 of them were Salutatorians.
