I just finished paying off my last loan (FINALLY) and could do what I’d always wanted to do with my house - theme it Lolita soft girl/goth. It has a pink iron door, black roof, and a white and black facade. I’ve seen so many people do cottagecore houses, but I really wanted to do something different for mine. All inside, everything is black, pink, pale purple. Is anyone else doing a certain theme for their house?
My main character is just like a home?
I have living space in the main room then a bedroom, kitchen, and bathrooms off of it.
Upstairs is sort of a pastel cute master suite of sorts.
Down stairs is sort of a library/productive room.
My alt characters are the ones with themes.
Star is Star Hotel
Lobby entrance, two rooms, and staff room on the main floor.
Upstairs is the cafe.
Downstairs is Star's private room
Faye is ... a faye creature. lol
Her house is located between the bamboo forest, mystic garden, and siren cove
All of the rooms are just plant/garden/outdoor themes.
Her house and surroundings are the biggest WIPs since I can only order 5 items a day to stock her house up. lol
I couldn't be bothered decorating the whole of the house so i covered all the doorways in the main room with bookshelves, and turned that room and the basement into a library/cafe that my character owns and runs. He lives in a studio apartment in the attic lol
My other characters house is just a huge mansion with all the rooms decorated like a regular house (plus a sauna because why not i guess)
main room is the office/seating area
left room is for bugs (will have lots of butterfly and rare beetle models)
back room is for fossils
right room is for fish (shark and rare fish models and some other ocean/sea items)
upstairs is for artwork
basement is a studio with a bedroom/desk/kitchenette/small bathroom
not really? i just thought about some types of rooms i wanted to have, then stuffed all of them into my home, so it’s all very mismatching c’: my main room is a “flex” sort of room, with the money flooring, gold bars, safes with open briefcases on top, and the crowns decorating the wall. the left room somewhat classy with the antique set yet stuck-up with the trophy cases and other gold items, the room on the right is a casino, and the north one is full of sewing items; on my other floors i have a dungeon and a summoning ritual. it’s safe to say that nothing really lines up here
We'll my first player house just has each room decorated with furniture that I like. I'm not done with my second character's house, but I'm thinking it has rooms based on places in over the garden wall! I might not do it, because I don't wanna feel restricted, but it's the idea that I'm going with.
