Does using Amiibos impact the time it takes a villager to move out?

Hi all,

I have an old Skye Amiibo hanging around, and although she's not a dreamie, I think it'd be nice to use her to force out someone I dislike while I wait for my next chance to island hop. But I'm worried that if I have villager turnover, it'll reset the timer for someone leaving naturally.

Does anyone have experience with that?

I didnt use an amiibo but I had a natural campsite visitor kick someone out. A couple days later Audie wanted to leave so it didnt reset the counter!
