Does Time travelling not effect turnips anymore?

Bought a bunch of turnips put them on the ground and TTed. And they're still good. Is this a glitch or did the rules change?

If you TT forward, but not past the Sunday they expire, they will not rot. They only rot if you TT backward.

TTing forward does not affect turnips, unless you keep them longer than a week. TTing backward causes turnips to spoil.

Also, I believe you have a lower chance of high turnip prices at Retail as a negative TT effect.
