Does this normally happen?

so i was going on about my day in my town and my villager Zell wanted to nickname me which is ya know normal but he wanted to nick name me "amiga"?? i looked on the wiki and theres no recording of that nickname so why? zell came from another town but im pretty sure hes 100% original but that shouldnt even affect him nicking naming such a wierd name..

well never mind i have found out on a different wiki that its normal xD

I've had a smug suggest 'amiga' as a nickname myself. I've also seen, 'kid', 'kiddo', 'cookie', 'shorty', 'beefcake', 'muffin', 'pop star', and my favorite of all, 'shmoopy'! There are probably others I may have forgotten, but the game is so deep in dialogue options that I wouldn't be surprised if no wiki could possibly point out all of them.

To be honest, most animal crossing wikia are very.. outdated and lacking in information.
