That's really lucky! I really wished for a layout like that, it looks very organized. My villagers just move in random and unfavorable spots.

Yeaa I've noticed villagers tend to move in close to other houses so they don't get lonely? Lol

In my town i have 7 houses and my mayors house in a perfect straight line... I plot resetted all of thdm tho haha

Lol that's funny some of my villagers are all cramped together like in this one little area.....

Villagers have a preference for moving in near other homes so that they have neighbors (some personalities might differ, but i think they all pretty much function like this), so it's not uncommon to get villagers clustering together in one area of the map. For them to be in a line like that is probably because it's such a skinny area that they couldn't move in above or below the other homes, so the only other option was to the side.

That makes a lot of sense.

Rng is random number generator. Basically where a villager goes is completely random by the game, you definitely did get lucky c:

I thought so. Just didn't know if RNG was the same in AC terminology. Haha!

I think they do tend to plot close to other villagers. This is my map:

I did villager reset for dreamies, but obviously you can't villager reset and plot reset at the same time. They just decided to form a little half circle thing. This happened in my last town too.

I must say though, the perfect line in your town is pretty enviable

I haven't tried either resets. I think your map is awesome tho. It's like they made space for your PWP!
