Maybe I'm going crazy, but I think running on the grass sounds different today than it did yesterday. It sounds crispier or something, idk. Has anyone else noticed this?

Now that you say that, I did notice that it sounded different, but I thought that was because I had changed my outfit into steel-toed boots that I had never worn before! Seriously, I love all of the little details that change month to month. It really keeps the game fun!

oh my god i thought i was the only one going crazy. They definitely sound different.

I really didn't notice this, grass really? I'll pay closer attention next time. lol

i absolutely love every little detail that starts to adapt to the changes of the weather. winter is coming.

What attention to detail! 😲

I'm looking forward to running on snow and hearing what that sounds like once winter arrives.

This is such a cool detail. I didn't realize it because I usually have a podcast or audiobook on while I play. I'm going to pay closer attention now.

The sound mixing is really expertly done. I've been playing at work recently, where I have the system running through a professional mixing board, outputting to Klipsch studio monitors. I'm constantly amazed at the smallest of sounds, from straddling between sand and grass, to balloon pops, to shovel digs.

Definitely noticed it the last day or so, doing my daily chores. It's much crunchier, and the color is shifting a bit more, as well.

Yes that is a normal thing in every animal crossing game. Happens when it gets closer to fall. They did that to make the grass sound more dead and like you're walking on leaves.

Yep, I noticed this too and I love it when the grass makes a different sound. It pretty normal in the Fall for the grass to sound different as it goes by.
