Finally achieved a 5 star rating today, however, I made a cliff on my peninsula and placed the lighthouse on top with a ramp leading up to it. Due to the 8 incline limit, I plan to remove the incline on the peninsula, leaving it to be a cliff with the lighthouse on top without the ramp giving access. Would this impact my rating?

No (or, at least, it isn't currently known to). I reached 5* with lots and lots of inaccessible areas (it was hard for me to reach because I didn't have many inclines and bridges). I still have 5* with a bunch of hills and things that can only be reached with a ladder. The secret beach is by default inaccessible (at least, it was for me), below cliffs.

So, basically, keep in mind that inclines and bridges DO affect your rating positively, although Isabelle never really mentions it. They give you a serious amount of points. Go talk to Isabelle once the incline is gone, just to be sure you still have 5*. But the inaccessible areas themselves don't impact your rating.

Thanks so much for your reply. I plan to demolish then immediately rebuild anyways so the total incline count will remain the same.
