Does anyone still own these or remember them?

This brings back bad memories for me. I had two different models. The second was a gift for my 18th birthday and it ended up down a college toilet because, "I thought it was someone else!" This was a complete stranger, so I don't doubt that they really meant to target someone else. But it does make me wonder who on earth they hated enough to want to throw their iPod down a toilet?

Wow pretty harsh of whoever did that!? So l guess it was good to have another one. Sorry to hear about what happened to it.

Lol, I still have mine. It's in some random drawer somewhere (doesn't get used anymore really but still works). My husband laughs every time he finds it.

Reminds me of that time when I really wanted one of these, however my parents never bought me one. Nowadays, I can live with the fact not owing one back then. Still find it kinda cool.

It is nice because they're small and you wouldn't need extra data on phones for music.

My older sister had one just like that, just in blue!
It's lost in an old bin i'm pretty sure, but I definitely know it's around somewhere. I also still use her old MP3 player she gave me when she got the iPod a verrrry long time ago.
My dad also owns the original iPod, and it surprisingly still works alongside the iPod and MP3 Player we have.
they are the best things to listen to music on, hands-down.

I've never owned that specific model, but I definitely do remember MP3 players and iPods! I still have my iPod Touch from like... 2011? 2012? It doesn't work anymore but I still have it, haha. The good ol' days!

I still have my blue one, and amazingly it still charges and turns on! It was a real blast from the past to see what I was jamming to in high school lol. I got the iPod as a bribe to learn touch-typing from my parents; I still use the typing skills, but not so much the iPod anymore.

I still have my iPod nano 2nd gen (released in 2006) as well as my iPod touch 4th gen (released in 2010). Unfortunately my nano doesn't work anymore, but my "newer" iPod touch does!

I had pretty much every generation of these, all the way back to the original iPod that had the hard drives in them that would seize up if you happened to drop them the wrong way! I always went with either the white or aluminum gray variants! Nowadays with the iPhone and Macbook I prefer space gray.

Same here with my dad! All he had to do is change the battery once and he still uses it and it still works! It's almost old as me....my goodness

I have an iPod Classic from 2005 that used to be my mom's. the front of it is black and it's more square shaped than the one you have. surprisingly has 32GB of storage. I don't use it much because I hate dealing with iTunes to put music on it, but after all these years it still works well as an MP3 player.

I still have and use my iPod shuffle, the best thing I have ever bought and its lasted me years. This little guy does now have a small new dent in the top left corner though. Its a shame they discontinued them, I feel like they're so underrated.

Not me, but I remember my dad having multiple MP3 players similar to that. He didn't believe in forking over more $ than necessary when there were other good and affordable options out there. If I were to look around the house I'm sure I would find one lol

i had a blue iPod shuffle and then a white iPod classic haha. the classic was my absolute favorite & i really wish i still had it.
