I haven't set one up in Shika yet. That is my all deer town. Since it is going to remain all deer, I was thinking that there is no rush to set up the campsite. The deer aren't going anywhere. I'm not saying I won't ever set one up, but the haste for it just isn't there. That got me to thinking, does anyone else not have the campsite in their town?

dang, Rizzo is my favorite cranky.
I would still build the campsite, for three reasons:
1. it improves perfect town score;
2. i like meeting new villagers even if i'm not moving them in; and
3. you can make a ton of bells from lazy villagers playing their "what did i eat" game.
I do have a campsite because I like the element of interaction you get with it. Every day when I walk past if there's a camper there then it's a lovely surprise. I get why you wouldn't want it for your deer town but I do think it'll keep things interesting in the long run

My Joy town is the only one I have with a campsite. I wish it wasn't there. I love how they look with the tent or igloo on them, but they look so trashy without a camper. It also bugs me that the campers don't show up for dream visitors. My other towns don't have the police station either.
I think it's a good idea for you to wait to put one in. Your town is still so new and the campsite is permanent. Once you start decorating it will be easier to choose the right location for your campsite.

I have a campsite because it gives you a chance everyday of earning over 100tbt, your dreamie for free or a villager you like. You should build one, they look really good •ᴥ•.

I have a campsite in both towns, but I'm not going to build a caf? in my second town. I have one in Pripyat and it looks good where it is, but I rarely use it. I think you should build your town exactly the way you want it.

i have a campsie in both of my towns, but in my second town i waited a bit longer to build it so i didn't end up placing it somewhere where i would regret putting it later )x

I don't have a campsite in my frog town for the same reason.I have all the frogs I want.I might set it up later as part of a park or something else.

The campsite was a life saver for me. I got several of my cat villagers from there. But there's nothing wrong with not having one, especially when you can just get the deer on here.

I have one in both towns, mostly to get dreamies or popular characters to trade. I don't think there is a problem not having one, but I think it does add to the game, a little flavor or spice to see a random villager every once in a while.

In my first town, I put it up immediately and regretted it after realizing I couldn't make a third bridge a few days later. on my second run, I took a little more time with its placement and put it far up north away from the river. I occasionally still question myself about my police station realizing I should have placed it elsewhere but ah well. It's in a decent location so it's not a dealbreaker. XD

man i got bones from my igloo a few days ago. i played "what did i eat" with him for over an hour trying to get him to move it.
i love the campsite. i think it adds some charm to your town, specially if you've got it away from everything else, it gives you a place to branch off and add pwp's that make it look more forestry and what not. :')

I got one in my first town fairly quickly, though I've never adopted a villager for it since I never had the space to. In my second town I waited about...10 months before building it, since that's an all cat town and I don't need it. I mostly put it there because I had a lot of empty space and it would make for a nice little forest kind of area. I'd put one in my third town but I only have like...5k bells there so I couldn't afford it anyway and I'd rather not just leave it sitting there unfinished.
