I participated once and made like 2 million and it was nice, but not nice enough for me to go through it again. It was a pain looking for an island to sell that's not asking for like 20NMTs or something wild like that. Plus, it's annoying trying to figure out where to store the turnips. I think I'm gonna stick to trading and critter catching.
Ugh I hate Daisy May and cringe every time I see her on my island because I never had good luck with the turnips! Always selling my stock at a loss! I'll stick to cleaning duties and watering services lmao
I used to not care about her when the first time we met, but now i regularly buy turnips from her since there are no more ways for me to get a huge load of bells other than selling hot items
i did stalk markets for the first few weeks and eventually found that it was too stressful for me so i stopped! i'm not really in a rush to finish the game anyways so i don't mind taking time to earn bells i do still say hi though (if i wake up in time though) cos i think shes adorable lolol
i only invest in the stock market if i'm short on bells! it's a very slow and stressful (but profitable!) way of earning in-game bells, and i try to avoid doing it unless i have a lot of free time haha ;; also i wake up really late so i miss her a lot
I only say hi because I need to know my buying price to predict in case I get a big spike (so I can share it with a group of friends)
The next time I buy turnips will be my last, I've made the necessary calculations, after completing the miles achievement I'll be done with buying turnips! Found it was way too stressful :p
I usually do, yes. But I want to get all my Nook Miles badges for selling turnips in New Horizons. I want to actually try getting all the achievements in this game. So for now, I am buying them. After I get the achievements, I doubt I will.
I try to sell them by the next day though, because If I don't I forget I have them.
It is incredible stressful, and time consuming, especially if you want to get the BEST prices. Before this game I never did turnip selling online, I just played the market with what appeared in my town and sometimes I gained and sometimes I lost. It wasn’t as profitable but it was fun. Now it feels more like a hustle.
the last few weeks I went hard on the turnips, cleared out my entire attic and basement to store them, and waited in those hours long lines. I made a fat profit, paid off my house, and have more than enough bells to last me for awhile. I think I’m going to take a break from the stress for a few weeks.
buuut...I did still buy a few turnips yesterday lol. Since the game came out, turnips have been an excuse to get me up early for special Sunday breakfasts, so it’s a hard habit to break.
