Does anyone else use this glitch to their advantage?

I'm talking about the villager exterior glitch. When I invite a camper in and I'm at ten villagers, I always check online to see what their houses look like before I let them build it.
If I don't like it, I time travel backwards one day and that way their house doesn't get built, they have to keep the house exterior of the villager they kicked out lol.

Right now Tangy lives in Aurora's house and Biskit lives in Cookie's house, and I'm really glad because both Cookie and Aurora had super cute house exteriors. Biskit and Tangy's real exteriors were too orange for me


If you had a lot of time and dedication (plus the needed amiibo cards), you could probably use this method to put all ten of your villagers into the same house exterior. Might be an appealing idea for people who are looking for a super cohesive island. Has anyone done something similar?

I didn't realize it was a thing! I'd love to see pics of themed or color coordinated towns if people are doing that with it

I haven't seen pictures of full towns or something, but apparently some people do! If they have the right amiibos, they can put in any house they want for the theme of their town and that's pretty cool if you ask me.

When I encountered this glitch on my island, my husband said it would be funny to have all the house exteriors be the same. I wish someone would do it, I would love to see it
