Does anyone else here despise Autumn in AC? Just me?

I love Autumn in both real life and in game. I love the vibrant color changing of the leaves and the cooler temperatures, the special days associated with the season like Halloween (unsurprisingly, my favorite day of the year), Thanksgiving/Harvest Festival, and my birthday, the pumpkin food and drink. I generally prefer the Autumn and Winter half of the year since I find cold more tolerable than heat. I never look forward to Spring because it just means bugs will be out, heat's on the way, and it's going to rain. I find Spring bland in game and in real life and rather dislike Summer outside of specific days, but at least in the games you can catch certain high priced bugs and fish.
But I just hate it in Animal Crossing because the grass and tree leaves start to turn yellow, or a nasty green-ish yellow. My town in NH was in June, all nice and green. I just switched to the current date and everything is that nasty green/yellow color and it just makes me so sad. I'm really tempted to either set my clock back to spring/summer when I play, or just not play the game at all (I've been known to take a hiatus from Animal Crossing during Autumn/Winter because I don't like how they look in AC for some reason).
I've seen Winter in this game and it looks really lovely. I just hate Autumn. The color scheme is not my forte, at all.
I mean, the colors vary throughout Autumn itself. September's color scheme isn't the same as October's which isn't the same as November's, and there's variations even within the months themselves. It might not be that great right now, but it gets way better later on. Like Jez said, the red in mid/late November is especially wonderful.

I think that's the main reason I can never hate fall, even if it brings allergies 😂 Because it also brings HALLOWEEN 🎃

I'm also one of the rare people who LOVES winter. I'm a Minnesota girl at heart and I LOVE snow in all forms, even virtual 😉

I also love winter and snow!! I’m a cali girl who has converted hahaha

I feel the same way. In NL my town theme did not vibe with autumn colors, and the same is true for my NH island. I like autumn in real life, and even like the autumn events in AC, but I just don't like the yellow/dead grass look in game either!

One of my friends was born and raised in Minnesota (like me) but mvoed to California as soon as she could...
...I just couldn't do it, it's too hot for me 😝

Autumn is my favorite season, both in real life and Animal Crossing. Personally I really like the color scheme. Also the mush set has some of my favorite furniture, so that being exclusive to autumn makes me like the season even more.
Mush furniture is fab- I also LOVE the Mush Wall, it's in my attic RN. I TTed to November because I simply couldn't wait 😅

No I agree with you I do not like autumn at all I’ve never liked it in animal crossing. I don’t like the colours of that season and the grass is 🤮
I’m so glad it’s spring where I am from cause I get to enjoy my favourite holiday (Halloween) in spring :) I also don’t like Winter 1. Because I don’t like the look of white everywhere and 2. It doesn’t snow in my country so I can not relate to the game.

I think it's vile.
Not as vile as snow, but still an eyesore.

I load the game and only do the minimun now, to escape the vortex of puce green ugliness.

It's the best season! Finally we transition away from the neverending sunshine and back into more interesting weather. I also love that finally, not everything is green anymore. I was getting really, really tired of sun and green.

And it's only going to get better from here. :D

it's okay you're entitled to your opinion but i personally love autumn the most in the game :) mainly because it's one of my two favorite seasons irl. the orange/yellow matches my island's aesthetic so i've honestly just been living in october-december in the game so far. every time i tt back, it's only because of a game update but i eventually tt forward again just so i can get out of the spring-summer seasons lmao.

Autumn is my favorite season irl and in game I'm enjoying it the most so far. The trees are turning different colors which is awesome to see, the weather is more interesting and I just love colder vibes. I can see why some people would dislike the new grass color but it doesn't bother me at all.

I'm not fond of any of the autumn colors. red is okay but I still prefer the lush green colors of spring and summer.

It's my favorite season. The sickly greens and pale yellows make me think of Halloween, my favorite holiday. I love everything about fall, especially the colors.
see it's weird cause I love Halloween and I actually like Autumn irl, I don't love it like I love Spring but I like it. The aesthetic is very nice. I just don't think it looks good in NH, especially since most of my town is bright/neon/bold colors. The browns and oranges of Autumn just don't match up with my towns, ever.

I hate autumn both IRL, and in games, the colors are putrid, I really don't understand why some people find dying plants, and cold weather without snow enjoyable, or pretty, it just looks alien, and gross to me.

I love it. The colors fading may not be the brightest or prettiest, but they mean cooler weather and new, fun outfits.

I'm having fun changing the colors of my displays to match the changing season, and thinking about how to adapt some of the more summery beach areas.

Also, Halloween is coming!

I'm a little bummed that the nice looking red and orange trees will only last for a short while. Not a fan of the yellowish grass we currently have either. But the red and orange trees? Yes please, can't wait for those.

I agree. I think the color palette used for autumn should be soooo much prettier than it is. In real life, autumn is beautiful in many parts of the world, but in ACNH, it's...kinda yucky.
