Does Anyone Else Hate Sea Bass As Much As I Do? / Mean Fish Stories

I wonder if anyone else really hates Sea Bass as much as I do?
I am constantly seduced by their alluring large shadow in the water ... and am way too often taken in by their false misrepresentation of being a really desirable catch!

At times they seem more long and slender like the silhouette of an Oarfish or Moray Eel ... and worst of all ... masquerade as a HOLY FISHSTICKS!!! COLECANTH !!!
I really do dislike them intensely! The only time they are mildly tolerable is when they are the Fishing Tourney Catch or if an Animal requsts one!
...
I am sure others have similar opinions? What do you say?
The other thing I was thinking of for this thread is Mean Fish Stories ... like "One Bite Wonders" with Sharks or rare fish ... they strike with lightning speed and no chance to react ... just mean!

I played Animal Crossing on the GameCube and I hated them then too! This is a long standing enmity!! lol

I can tell them apart from the "huge" size shadows pretty well but I still cast for them... just in case hahah.

unless I'm hunting for new fish or something a villager wants though, I only cast for something in the ocean that has a fin sticking out

I do not like them compared to the Black Bass, Carp, Crucain Carp, Horse Mackerel, any fish that sells for low price.

Yes, I agree ... those are all equally dis-likeable! (is that even a word!?) )

Yea I do. It's so annoying because I see this big shadow and I go "oh man that can't be a sea bass, it's too big." And it ends up being a flipping sea bass! They are so annoying when I'm fishing for coelicanths or blue marlins. :/

My villager, Rodeo, asked for a sea bass and then kept it in house. It annoyed me just looking at it and when I tried to buy if off him he said no because it was his prized sea bass (that in no way he was planning to eat!). So haha there's somebody who likes them

Ive had some of my villagers keep them also ... when I go into their house and see it there, it offends the eye! Just wrong somehow!
