Does anyone else feel like the weather matches your real life weather?

I've been playing awhile but sometimes, it feels like the in-game weather matches the weather around me. This is like the 5th time in the last 2 weeks where I have been getting rain and it's raining where I am. Too many lucky coincidences imo.

It was snowing when I bought acnh and it hasn't snowed ingame without me TTing yet :^)

it's also raining a bunch ingame this week and i haven't gotten any rain where I live yet xD

i feel like i should have memed and made a SH island just because my state's weather is a joke

mine doesn’t really match. it’s rained in-game on sunny days and has been sunny on rainy days lol

It's spring here where I live, and in my island, it's rarely rained at all. The past few weeks in real life have been quite rainy, but my island is always been somehow sunny. Can't complain about it though, but it took me ages to get a coelacanth as a result!

Right? It was sunny this morning then I started hearing thunder outside then suddenly storm clouds started to appear in-game!

Same lol. It rains often in ACNH though so i'd pin it to coincidence. Possibly designed around irl weather patterns?

Berlin has been really cloudy, windy, and rainly lately. I haven't had many of those days on my island yet, so it's been a good escape.

Yeah. I had a super long rainy season in March-April and I was getting a lot of rain in-game.

And it's sorta becoming a windy summer and my island trees are vibrating. It's weird, lol.

I notice when it rains irl and in game. Then I'm annoyed because its raining (my ac person has to be soggy with me blah) but also overjoyed because I love rain (the ambience the drama the smell of it).

Happened before when it rained in NH and in real life. It was a strange coincidence though, but I liked it at the same time.

Sometimes it does, but I feel like it happened more often in New Leaf. I wonder whether we'll get the rainy season again.
