Does anyone else actually like Hazel?

I like her, she was one of my starters and I've had her for a while until I let her go for Felicity. The only thing that slightly bothered me about her was the fact that she seemed very easily annoyed, so I sometimes was too scared to talk to her
I don't think she is ugly at all, out of the squirrels she is definitely one of the cuter ones. Due to her catchphrase, her unibrow did slightly irritate me in the beginning, but after a while I didn't even notice it anymore. To me, there is definitely nothing "ugly" about her.

Me! She’s actually awesome! If I didn’t like better uchis like Reneigh, Fuchsia, or Cherry that fit the role better I’d choose her! I always think her name is Hazel Pataki!

I just dislike that shes so very intentionally ugly, I guess? Looool. A little over the top for me, if you will. I dont hate her, though. Shes unique, so I'm glad some people do like her.

lol this made me laugh because i really didn't like her when i got her, she was a random move in for me and i was nooot a fan of the unibrow like most people.

but hazel is such a cutie after talking to her and i think i literally fell in love with her the fastest out of all of my villagers. i found that her intentional ugliness made her even cuter in my eyes, as funny as that sounds. she wasn't my favorite uchi going into to NH but i'm sooo glad i have her on my island now and would never let her go now :'> y'all are sleeping on hazel if you don't stan her already!!

I love Hazel, I have her in my New Leaf town and I invited her via campsite because I quite like her and I think she’s cute. Part of the reason why is because Hazel reminds me of my little cousin. I know people don’t like her because of her unibrow but I think it makes her design unique.

I had her when I first played new leaf! I thought she was kinda cute before and that was wayy before I discovered the "cuter" villagers. I was best friends with her and lolly! To which I haven't seen any of them in years since restarting countless times on NL and now in NH ;; wow I was stuck with Vladimir xD which may be a reason why I don't dislike him as much now. But hazel was a cutie to be back then and still now <3 I hope I get to see her one day!

hazel is one of my absolute favorite uchis! up there with fuchsia. imo she wouldnt be nearly as cute without her unibrow - i love that she rocks it and is so confident (even tho shes a fictional squirrel lol) in something that is usually depicted as ugly in like, every single piece of media of ive ever seen

Unibrows have been considered particularly beauty in certain cultures during certain periods of time. If you have ever read any of 1000 nights and a night (from around 300 AD, I believe). Many of the heros/heroines are described as particularly beautiful for having them.
I think it is really cool when people like an aesthetic that is not the default for the time and place in which they live <3
