Does anyone actually play in 3D?

It doesn't really hurt my eyes when in 3d, but it makes it hard to see because you kind of have to keep still and if you move even a little bit the screen will be hard to look at (if you know what I mean)
so I just turn it off most of the time unless I'm catching beetles

Half the time when i'm playing i'm in some awkward position or laying down, so trying to find the "sweet spot" for the 3D effect is impossible.

Only on special occasions. Like my birthday. Otherwise, I can only nudge the 3D slider just a little, or my eyes will start to hurt.

I actually played most of it on 3D. it is fun. but I'm actually considering buyng XL. they say 3d there is much better

Same, when i play I don?t sit perfectly still, I mostly lay down on my bed too, I would like to play in 3D, but it?s not worth it, the 3D is amazing though.

There are only a few games I would play in 3D, and animal crossings not one of them.

Wutlol?
I just remember 3D exists then! I often remember at times I want to document what I've done or something... Or it makes it more 'special'. The 3D button has become the "special event slider"...

My fianc?e doesn't like it, strains her eyes too much or something. Me I ALWAYS play in 3D. The depth that it adds makes everything so much more crisp and truly makes you feel like you are IN your house and stuff. It works great for AC!

I tried the XL in the store once, I felt it looked worse, a lot of the graphics become more blocky and the 3D effect was a bit less too. Maybe I just wasn't used to the big screen yet but it just didn't look good to me.

I do, but only for like 15 minutes. Not really a fan of the 3D function. I use it on boss battle on Ocarina of Time tho.

when i feel like murdering my eyes yes but that hasn't happened yet though i'll let you know when

I just look at a few things in 3D but I've hardly ever touched my depth slider while playing New Leaf.

I play in 3D all the time.

The only time I turn the slider down is if I'm turning the 3DS to show my husband something on the screen.

Glad to see I'm not alone -- I should have done a proper poll, looks like most people don't play AC:NL in 3-D. I haven't actually played any other games on my XL (never had regular 3DS) so I don't know if I'd use it it anything else, but I really don't like it in AC:NL.

Now i'm interested to know how widely used 3D is in general too!
