Does anybody even look at badges?

I always look at them. When I get spotpasses for a house being in that one place... forgot what it's called. I look at the people's card info and badges.

I always look at them and I personally like them.
I don't have a weeding badge or streetpass badge but I have all the rest and quite a few are gold and silver.
I have worked a long time on my game and I like having something to show for it, even if no one else really pays attention to it
I will have to find someone with a lot of weeds to get that one and streetpass will probably be one I never get :/

I used to look a lot more - but it wasn't because I cared what they had, it was to see what the badges I haven't gotten yet look like. I love the badges - so pretty and shiny!

I'm pretty nosy and look at badges when I get a chance. Normally I just look at badges from people I streetpass that appear in HHA. I like knowing what they've accomplished in the game.

I look at them a lot because I get curious. I also look at my badges to make sure they look okay, like I actually try to earn them (which I do)

I like to compare my achievements to what others have achieved and I always go out of my way to get them.

Plus I'm nosy...

I sometimes look. I am competitive, so I guess it is too see if I have more or better badges, but sometimes or mostly, it is just out of curiosity. Now that I read a couple of replies to this, I am probably going to look at them a bit more and to see how into the game they are. Also, I just realized that badges could be a hint towards wether that person plays in a legit way, and doesn't troll. I do like to see what people's HHA scores are in the showcase area. That is more of a competitive and be impressed thing I do. lol

This is a lot like me with the xbox achievements lol. I have a friend of mine who is close to my score and I always have the mentality that I must beat her score lol.

I don't look at my own badges ever, let alone others'. xP
I also don't really go out of my way to get badges that don't come naturally from my gameplay, so my collection isn't too impressive. Maybe one day I'll actively try to get some more badges, but I'd have to be pretty bored haha.

I'm very competitive so I make sure I always have the better badges than my friends. I'm still wondering how I don't have my gold badge for hours played. My activity log has 890 hours and I'm sure out of that my sister played 220 at most and me the other. Strange...

A LOT of people think I'm a hacker or time traveler, because they find it hard to believe I've played 1,300 hours since launch (if you do the math, yes, I play this a good 6 hours a day everyday). I also bought 3 more copies for the extra town's weeds (getting me the 5,000 weed one recently), and the StreetPasses (only around 500). It's been tough getting these, but well worth it to show off my insane hard work.
Oh, to answer, yes, I also look at their badges, their start date, to see if they too are a legit player or not.
