Does a villager's home exterior prevent you from adopting them into your town?

I love Static. Well, at first I didn't. But he's my boyfriend's favorite villager and after the first couple of days of me playing his game to help him get his 100% approval, I really started to adore that little squirrel and his freakishly deep voice. After basically taking over my boyfriend's town, I cycled out Static before resetting to make it into my other town. I really want to move Static into my main town because my boyfriend asks about him and I hate telling him he's just sitting in my holding town where villagers go that I want to keep, but have yet to make space for in a town where they can receive proper attention. I'm kicking out Flora soon. We're not clicking this time around and I was like, "Hey! Let's move in Static! I like him."

But then I was kind of...wondering how his home would look in my town of cute little houses and flowers. Everyone always complains about his, Kyle's, and Papi's homes for looking like tiny meth factory shacks. I kind of like them? But the more I think about, they are a bit out of place in really cute towns. But I'll probably adopt Static into my main regardless so my boyfriend can see him and because I really do like him. Maybe Static DOES make meth; who am I to judge, ya know?

So, what about you? Does a villager's home exterior factor into you moving them in?

Kyle was a dreamie but his house is just no lol maybe for people who have the gross exteriors have an area that has only dirt patterns and dead trees, maybe some qr codes like a Dump area? Qr imperfections because trash ruins your rating.

Oh god. Some villagers would have the ugliest yards ever. Static would probably have one of those shady used car lots where the cars are sold in someone's front yard or a junkyard or something. Or just police tape roping everything off.

I love Kyle. I'm hoping to make a ghost town/creepy town with a bunch of villagers and I got him randomly and I was like, "You'll do." It's weird because Kyle, Static, and Papi have lovely interiors! Maybe they don't want people to know how great they are at decorating.

I've never decided whether I wanted a villager or not based on their house exteriors, maybe I've just been lucky that none of the villagers I've had so far have had really bad houses but I also think it helps that my town's decoration could go with most house styles and that I think that a house that looked really misplaced could end up looking cute because of it being so unusual. It has never crossed my mind to try to find out what villagers' houses look like before I get them, either. I wonder if there's some place that has pictures of all the houses?

I could not possibly care less about their house exteriors or interiors. All I am interested in is the villager. However, if I happen to like the exterior, that is a bonus.

I've never thought about exteriors when it came to houses because all the villagers that settled in my town had cute exteriors. I didn't know that Kyle's house would look so... well, how should I say it, ghetto. I thought he was really cute but I want him to move out now because of his exterior.

I really don't care what the houses look like, although some are better than others! It wont stop me from adopting the villagers, I'd rather have them and put up with an ugly house than not have them at all quq
Although, I did take a look at Static's and it's probably one of my least favorite houses, I'd say go for it anyway cause he is really cute regardless!

So far, I haven't encountered any villagers with truly terrible houses.

I'm not sure if that would influence my decision to keep a villager, but I'm leaning towards no.

After all, three of my villagers have horrible INTERIORS, and that doesn't really bother me.

I love all my villagers homes!

I dont think it would prevent me from getting them and ruining the theme of my town. I would just put different colored flowers near there house thats all.

I really wouldn't care what the exterior of their house looks like, and I certainly wouldn't let their house exterior prevent me from having them in my town.

Static was a dreamy in original Chrome, until I found his home exterior. :x I got him as a starter in current Chrome though, so I decided to keep him.
