Do you wish you could buy stone axes?

Yeah, I do wish we could buy the stronger durability one. I mean, I don't mind using three pieces of wood to make it, but it does get rather annoying after awhile.

Most people that play don't need to chop down trees since we have the ability to move them with fruit and a shovel. It sucks having to waste wood and time to create one every time you're farming wood.

THIS! This has to be one of the few gripes I have about the game.

I saw this thread and am so glad other people feel this way. I never usually craft tools anymore, so it's just a hassle for me to have to spend 5 mins crafting the stone axe. Along with some other people, I wish axes (in general) had special patterns, also.

Me too just allow me to buy any type of material I need. I have lots of things to build but not always the patience to collect all the items for them

Yes its annoying they dont sell stone axes because i actually use them to chop trees for the wood.

Yes! Every time I need to go get some wood, I have to go and buy four of the regular weak ones. I know I can craft them but that requires wood as well...and it’s a hassle.

They should reward you with an invincible one after crafting 3000 axes! The nook miles achievement and a breakable golden ax doesn’t seem worth it.

I was doing stuff last night and every villager hassled me trying to buy my stuff that I was actually rearranging, then my freaking axe broke so I just turned the power off.

I spend $50k a day on customization kits for the other tools as they don't fix the axe, and it broke.
Couldn't be bothered making another one.

Sick to death of breaking tools.

I don't really chop wood from trees on my island anymore. I just chop down every tree in mystery islands if I'm looking to gather resources!
