Do you use ''the path?''

I don't. Although the design is super nice, the fact that it sounds like plastic floor when walking over it takes me out of it.

I went without for ages and tried to just use the in-game dirt paths so I could have more space for designs, but I just don't like how smooth the in-game paths are. I like the wild ruggedness of the designed ones, so I made my own with darker dirt to fit my towns aesthetic more

I wanted to love custom paths but without sounds they make me feel uncomfortable... so I don't use them anymore or I use them sparingly. I stick to the red brick everywhere

I use a variation of the path which is very autumnal (I can’t find the creator code anywhere on my phone!) It’s definitely one of the best design choices I’ve made for my island.

It's nice but I don't use it. It's more for foresty/wilderness type islands imo.

For my island I prefer to use the stone path with the island designer and then overlay my own custom border pattern. While not exactly a bustling urban area my island doesn't really have a wild/natural feel. I would maybe use it on the cliff where I have my campsite as its rather secluded and foresty but I have like 2 free design slots to work with. >.<

I converted to a "The Path" variation a month or so ago. Still haven't finished laying them out xD But they look quite nice mixed with in game paths as well. I like the variety

I use a version of it because there are parts of my island that need a more winding look. While the sound is a bummer I don't think I could go without it.

I think it’s very well made, but I don’t use it. It takes up so many slots and my goal is to use only designs that I’ve created myself. I enjoy looking at the variations people have come up with, though!

Not gonna lie, it looks quite nice, but I'm not a fan of custom paths, besides it doesn't fit into the design of my island at all. Therefore, I don't have any plans on using it.

I use it on my natural island, Muir Wood -- or a variation of it, anyway. It's currently a dirt with maple leaves and I'll probably switch it out during winter for a more snowy look. I think it does really well with more natural island themes? I don't plan on using it for my second island, though, since I'm going for a more cultivated aesthetic and will probably use the in-game stone paths.

I don't mind the lack of sound since I don't usually play AC at a high enough volume to notice unless I'm really listening for it, honestly.

I only use the default in-game paths. I hope they add more in the future.

I’ve stuck with the in-game paths so far, and avoided custom paths. I like the way the default paths look and sound, and I prefer saving my design slots for other things.

I haven't used it yet as I enjoy the sound of the in game paths and I was wanting to save my design spots for other things but now that I've really started to lay out the paths of my island I'm starting to reconsider as all of the 90 degree angles are starting to annoy me a bit and I'm wanting to go for more of a natural woodsy theme on my island :/ no idea if I could be bothered switching over at this point tho

I love it so much but now i'm reconsidering it because of how many design slots it takes up. Cmon Nintendo, give us more!

I didn't for the longest time but then found that the default/in game dirt path was not doing it for me in my more natural areas because it was too linear. My island is tropical themed, and in the jungle area I wanted it to be really rugged and earthy, so I looked online and found a darker dirt tropical themed version of the path that is perfect for my island! It looks super awesome and I now understand all the hype around "The Path" haha.

It looks gorgeous <3

I don't use it myself because I don't want to be constantly kicking up custom paths and having to replace them. Plus, I had already put in all of my roads by the time it was released and am not up for a total redesign of my island. I don't really enjoy the designing aspect of the game that much and prefer areas to look decent and be done with them.

I did a few months back, but I’ve removed it in favour for the in-game dirt paths. Being able to place weeds and custom patterns on top makes the in-game one better for me now. And the extra pattern spaces I got back didn’t hurt either.
