Do You Use Amiibos?

I don't have any of the Amiibo figures for Animal Crossing (that may change in the future), however I do have a couple of Amiibo cards that came with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. So I use those occasionally!

Nope, but I've been considering buying a few fanmade versions, since the official versions are way overpriced and rare to boot.

I have every card and figure. I also have a set of custom ones from etsy for the special villagers like Felyne. I use them often, mostly for giveaways, trades, and to switch up my villagers every now and then to keep my town from getting stale.

I purchased Amiibo cards mainly as a safeguard in case one of my villagers moved out. Aside from that I don?t use them.

I believe there are some 3DS XLs without built-in scanners. I got mine back in 2013 and wouldn't have bought the external scanner later if there was a built in but back to your question...

i might buy 4 packs of amiibo cards, since i want to start a collection. even though acnl: welcome amiibo has been out for like, 3-4 years now? i don't think its too late. for some reason, acnl hasn't lost its charm for me yet, but i just got back into playing it.
i am getting 1 pack of each series except wa, and an extra pack of the 3rd series (the one with mable).
probably gonna have some duplicates, but there's always someone trading amiibo cards in this fandom!
