I do for very specific purposes. Namely when Redd is in town. It's my way of saying "F you devs! This is BS!".
Otherwise I play normally.

I don't anymore, but I did when I reset my town because I set my date back to the 20th. I didn't want to go through the long two week tutorial in real-time again and I was missing the cherry blossoms.

I did in past games, but playing one day at a time has made it more enjoyable I think Also, since the online community is so active I don't feel that restricted by not time traveling since I can get more items quickly that way

i do sometimes, but not much anymore since i have a group of 10 villagers that im happy with, i'll still do it sometimes just to get orders shipped but i'll go back to present day afterwards

I have a shop (on tbt) that involves ordering from my catalog, so I time travel several times a day for that. But I limit myself and don't do anything that feels like 'cheating' to me when TTing. For one example, I don't buy anything from Nook's on any days that aren't the actual current date.

edit: Oh and I TT when I want a villager to move out. Island hopping is tedious as it is, I'm not going to also wait weeks for a villager to move.

Most of the time, i don't. However, i have restarted my NL town (for the 3rd time!) and as NH is out i can't play 2 games at once every day. So i TT on Valley, the NL town. I will never TT on Leybaki (my Nh island)

I haven't TT'd at all. I may have in City Folk but I decided not to do in NH as I want to enjoy as long as I can. I'm fine with anyone TTing but I just prefer not to.

I wasn't planning on time traveling in this game but I ended up doing a little bit of it to move some villager houses and bridges around during the weekend. I made it a personal rule not to do anything else during those days other than landscaping things, eg. no earning money/working on miles/museum or working towards villager friendship. I would also never travel over the real date because I want to experience actual days/seasonal events naturally. I'm done with whatever I wanted to work on for landscaping so now I'm back to my no TT-schedule! I was an avid time traveler in New Leaf but I actually prefer just playing day to day now.

I haven't yet, but I've been considering it lately. I'm kind of getting bored of waiting for houses to be moved and for villagers to leave.

I've TT'd only 2 or 3 times in the beginning of the game because it was going really slowly. Then last night I had my first major TT episode because I had to get a villager to move out quickly! I don't plan on TT'ing again, because I enjoy playing the game day by day, but if I ever need a villager out quickly again, I might consider it in the future.
