I don't TT. I prefer day to day playing. Yes sometimes it's boring. Yes sometimes I only play for 5 minutes. But it suits me.

Just for villager resetting when I start a new town. Other than that I really like playing 30min or so a day and doing everything in real time.

I'm stuck several months in the past at the moment so I kinda have to play several days per sitting if I ever want to get caught up.

I start with timetravelling to unlock the good stuff, but once I got to 'today' I continue playing normally.

Yes, I guess it really depends on a lot of things. If I'm bored and there's an event that is recent, I'll TT to it and participate in it. If I want more blue roses or gardening supplies, then I'll TT. Also if there's a villager in boxes that I can't sell, or if I buy an upgrade to a house, then I'll do it.
Otherwise, I rarely ever do it since it ruins the game in my opinion, but if I reset my town, I'll probably TT like a madman.

No time traveling for me when I was building up my town but when I got to spring and the cherry blossoms appeared I stayed there since I've unlocked everything at a normal date in game.

Well, back in the acww I did some extreme time travelling that f'd up my game xD So with acnl I keep flowing daybyday, though I'm thinking of tting more when i feel my town is set

I used to TT a lot in acgc but I actually don't do it much in ACNL. After I remade my town recently I've been playing day by day on my lunch break at work.
