The other day I was debating about whether or not to time travel once my museum upgrade is complete. I can't wait to have the Cafe, an option to work there, to go coffees, etc. and that's one of the features that I was most excited about when the game was first being announced. That got me thinking... do most people TT, or prefer to play "honestly", in real-time?

I mostly play in real-time, but I have TT'd a few times before, mostly to try and get a villager (Elvis) to move out (he didn't).

I used to TT a lot, then it lost my interest in AC:NL. Now I don't and I don't think i'll ever lose interest in it again.

Yes, but only when I need it (i.e. getting someone out of town, getting enough perfect fruit, ordering multiple times from the catalogue)

When I first got the game back in 2013 I would TT quite a lot as I was impatient when it came to landscaping/PWPs etc. But I quickly got bored of how fast I was progressing and vowed to only TT occasionally and it works better for me that way. I'll happily TT if someone wants to adopt a villager quickly, or for plot resetting, but I try to play in real time for everything else. That being said I TT'd loads last month when I was re-developing some parts of my town..I got so sick of all the snow lol.
I have no prob with TTing at all, and will never give it up, I just try not to do it often to keep my interest in the game ^_^

Yes, but only if I need to, for ex. I have a f****** villager that won't move out, I usually tt them out.

I have before, but only if it's a day or two type of thing. I don't normally time travel by months or anything like that. The one time I did I was trying to get someone to move... and I accidentally voided a villager I liked instead. :(

So never again haha, I'll stick to playing day by day if possible. xD

i time travel when someone wants to get one of the villagers i'm giving away or selling, ordering a furniture set for someone, or for breeding hybrids, and to get unwanted villagers out as i'm trying to cycle flurry back in. when i first got the game, i mostly played in real time, however i got bored of playing in real time fast (even though it's pretty cool the game is built for real time playing). i finished my daily chores and tasks in 1-2 hours so i didn't really have anything to do. i started time traveling and it made me want to play the game even more! if i tt too far ahead, i will tt back to the current date and play normally again.
i like playing in both real time and time traveling so one day i'll tt (i play about 2-3 hours on weekdays, sometimes less) and the other i'll play in real time. either way, i still get a lot done for my town! c:

I chose no because I do so with extreme limits.

*I didn't play yesterday, so I set the time back to play it and then today. (Or multiple days.)
*Villager is sick and don't feel like getting medicine on the off-chance I'll miss a moving rumor, go back and hour, then regular.
*Missed store closing by 5 minutes, go back an hour, then regular.

Real town no. Perfect fruit town yes.
My perfect fruit town run March to May and than repeat. Like to change the time to 4am so the villagers leave me alone.

It depends on the situation. I mainly do it to either cycle out my villagers I lost interest in or if I play late at night and the shop I want to go to is closed. I prefer to play at night and I don't want to remove my beautiful town ordinance to just have my shops open a little bit later. Too bad we can't combine ordinances :C

I'm freest late at night and I don't want to replace my beautiful town ordinance, so I often rewind the clock a few hours to open the stores. Even if I did change my ordinance to night owl, I'd still need to time travel to maintain my characters' tans (you can't do that at 23:00!). I've also time-travelled for the sake of trades and plot-resetting.

The game goes by waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy too slow that it bores me to the extent that it makes me want to quit. But this may be because I come from playing fast paced games like Starcraft, LoL, Diablo, various online RPGs (mostly from Nexon), hmmmmmm ya so I would've quit ACNL if TT wasn't an option lol.

I TT if it's super necessary like when I need a villager out or if I need a PWP done faster so I can build another one.
