Do you think they will add perfect fruit later?

Do you think that they will add perfect fruit back for native fruit? I am asking because I am resetting for my dream town and I don't really care about native fruit that much if there isn't going to be perfect fruit. If perfect fruit isn't a thing, I would be happy with peaches, cherries, or apples. If perfect fruit comes back, I would really want apples. My requirements for a town are already really selective so not having to worry about a fruit would be nice. What do you all think? Will we see it? Or should they focus on other things (like bringing back the good furniture sets from NL)?

it could be a thing. but the weird thing with updates is that suddenly there will be perfect fruit lol. i found it funny how they had to make an explanation as to why we can suddenly dive. it was smart though, makes it a bit realistic as opposed to just being able to dive now because there’s wetsuits available lmao.

wonder what could be the excuse? i feel like if they added it, it could be tied to a new game feature. some sort of ingredient or requirement for DIY. maybe when vegetables or food actually gets added?

So perfect fruits can grow from a native fruit tree that had fertilizer buried near it. Then perfect fruit can be planted to make perfect fruits trees. These trees will make perfect fruit a few times before dying, dropping rotten fruit, and leaving a leafless dead tree.

Perfect fruit sell for 600 in your own town and 3000 in other towns when they're foreign.

they do, but i think it’s ok even if they do. you can plant them again easily. and it grows fruit 3 times (i forgot how many) until it stops growing fruit.

i remember people selling their native perfect fruits to other players. (you cannot plant them though if it’s not native) i gift them to villagers when they ask for fruit for a higher change of getting their pic.

I think they should bring the perfect fruit back so it would make more sense having a choice of native fruit when starting/resetting or having a native fruit in general. Right now, I feel like it's just there for show, written in everyone's passport.

I hope not. if it didn't disappear after you shake the trees a few times i wouldn't mind. I got tired of bare dead trees and trying not to shake the trees that many times to keep it from happening. and i didnt like that villagers asked for it cause its way more of a pain to get.

villagers don’t ask for fruit anymore so they won’t.

i almost forgot about fertilizers so it could be introduced along with that. basically i can see it happening on leif’s shop section expansion—if it happens.

I suppose you would be able chop the tree down in New Horizons? I think it might be nice to use dead trees during Halloween or for spooky themed islands.

Yep, they are choppable just like any other tree. I know some people used them for spooky decorations.

yeah it's nice decor. i have 1 dead tree, and it's very pretty. i feel like if it's not your thing you can just chop it.

I really hope so! I reset for an island specifically with apples just in case they do. I love the perfect apples, they remind me of red delicious apples. Plus, the perfect apples and also the other perfect fruit always looks sooo tasty that it makes me wish I could try it in real life if they actually existed.
