Do you think there might be a possibility?

I'm having a hard time, a really hard time choosing my 10th villager, so with the updates and all, do you think there might be a chance that in the future we will be able to have more villagers like maybe 1 or 2 more? Or this is just wishful thinking from my part?

I know that we can have 8 player houses, but I will rather have one more villager.

I suppose with this promise of updates you can’t really rule out anything, but realistically, I think the possibility is very, very low unfortunately.

I really really hope so. I'd love at least a couple more villagers. Not like I'm going to use the other 7 human-characters! I might - at most - make one more. They should let us have animals in place of them, IMHO.

I don't think they would. There's so much emphasis on terraforming and outdoor decor and the ability to have 8 player houses that I think they would rather keep the remaining space empty.

I really don't think so. I hope the updates bring more stores and public buildings so there won't be much room for more villagers.. especially if we can build up to 8 player houses. I wish the island was a little bit bigger and had room for more villagers though, I'm already stressing out about which 10 I want.

I doubt it, especially considering the new updates will very likely bring new facilities to build and therefore more space will be taken up on your island. There just isn't room.

I wouldn't mind 1 or 2 more but I don't know if I'd want to jam two more houses in. My island already is kind of on the smaller side.
