wait, really? does the color indicate the contents of the balloon?

the color indicates what is most likely to be in the balloon, but it isn't 100% guaranteed. yellow is more likely to be bells, blue is more likely to be crafting materials, red is more likely to be furniture, and i think green is completely random

Yellow is usually bells, blue is usually resources. Either red or green is usually clothes and the other furniture. But it’s not 100%, I’ve gotten items from yellow balloons etc.

I shoot down every balloon I see. You never know if you're gonna get that one furniture item you'd been waiting for!!

They drop free bells, furniture, and sometimes gold nuggets. Of course I shoot down every one
