Idk if anyone has made a thread like this before but I'm curious lol, I'd love to hear about your ships! My biggest animal crossing ship is Julian x Colton because they are literally perfect together lol, I made them roommates yesterday in the happy home paradise thing! And I was way to happy about it, I called their home "Julian & Colton Luvnest" lol I couldn't fit the correct spelling of lovenest lmao, also this can go for any animal crossing game really, not just new horizons but I didn't know where else to post this lol, in new leaf I always shipped Lyle and Tom Nook because I swear they were married but now they're separated I guess?XD my ship ;3; and who doesn't ship cj and flick? I swear they're dating

Ok now that I home from work here's some pics! The bottom floor of their house when it was just Julian at first, them getting excited to be roommates, the top floor of their house but it's mostly just Julian, the top floor of the house with me and them and it's a better pic lol, them being cute at the beach, and finally me dancing with the two of them!

Very unconventional I think but in my NL town I loved Henry and Roald together. They put their houses right next to each other (at a time before I knew you could mess with it to let houses spawn a little more where you wanted) in this area of the map at the very top right, directly above the river in this narrow area between there and the train tracks, with the waterfall next to them. It was this very neat secluded spot and I was like ok they have to be an item lol. I was heartbroken when I missed some days and Roald moved away tho built a community works project where his house used to be in memory

I very much dislike the idea of romance in AC. Fair enough if people want to ship characters, but I truly hope Nintendo never brings romance into canon AC, except for the special characters. Ik NL has the pelicans, but nothing actually happens in that area.

Amelia and Avery; in New Leaf, every time they spoke about a villager, it was always the other one. They would hang out at each other's houses constantly, despite being a distance away from each other. I would have never paired them together myself, but they are very cute.

Oh yeah I agree I wouldn't care for it if they actually added canon romance! Shipping is fun, but actual canon ships just wouldn't feel right, and just wouldn't fit the game imo
