Audie and Alice are dating, Audie and Tangy are BFFs, Tangy has an obsessive crush on Marshal, Coco has an on again off again thing with Lloid, and Walker and Alice and I are buddies. :3
Some of these go back literal years lol.

In New Leaf,I have a town with Nate,Tutu and Pinky.Nate and Tutu used to spend a lot of time together,wore matching outfits and talked about each other all the time.Nate never hung out with Pinky...in fact,I don't remember ever seeing them together at all.In New Horizons it's now only Nate and Pinky and the other day I caught them fishing together and waving to each other.Pinky has him all to herself now.

My headcanon is that Cranston and Zucker are dorky best friends who find Kabuki to be the coolest guy in the universe, but he (being the grumpy old dude he is) openly rejects them whilst secretly caring for their feelings and wishing he could express it.

Zell and Rosie! I think they both have the same hobby? They like to sing together and their duets sound really nice XD They also have some really cute convos.
I dont have my precious Marshal yet, or Hazel because i deleted my old island, but i want to see if they are gonna get along. I am kinda wishing for that to happen since they are both my cute little squirrels! oh, and Marshal and Raymond are bffs in my head! Now i just need to have them both on my island to prove it XD

When I got Olivia on my island, I'd see Raymond with her all of the time, so I started shipping them. Their personalities match up nicely, so it was a done deal in my mind, Raymond is a smug little cat and such a smooth talker. I think snobby types like Olivia would go crazy for him. I even saw Raymond at Olivia's house one time. They make a cute couple. 
I also ship Tom and Katt, my starter uchi. They live next door to each other, so I figured they would be pretty close. I picture Tom as a cool, aloof older cat and Katt as a tsundere. Both of them aren't good at showing their feelings for each other, but there's always hope. I think Lolly and Moe would be cute together if she was on my island, but all of his talk about the bugs on his floor would probably scare her away.
I always ship jocks and peppies together, so Kid Cat and Merry is definitely a thing. I do think she and Rudy would make a cuter pair though. They're both so full of energy and have lofty dreams. One wants to become a pop star while the other wants to be a pro athlete. I wish I could get Lolly and Rudy on my island ASAP.

I like to pair my villagers up; glad to know I'm not the only one who does it. On my island I pair Raymond with Bud, mostly because they're both cats but because they're such opposites of one another and I'm a big sucker for that.
I also put O'Hare's house next to Tiffany, then I pair Audie with Chief and Fang with Skye. Lastly, I have Sherb and I'm really hoping to find Pashmina for my final villager so he can have a big sister to take care of him.

Dobie & Genji have a really special relationship and I often see them hanging out together. They are like this grumpy old man and little hyper kid getting his balls constantly stuck on his lawn. Really endearing.
Bunnie & Marshal have the most beautiful friendship ever. She doesn't get nearly as well along with Raymond which is surprising considering they are both smug villagers (Raymond and Marshal I mean)
Marina & Fauna are seen together inexplicably often considering their homes are at completely opposite ends of the map.

100%. In my island’s canon, Merengue and Angus are dating.
They weirdly hang out together on the island and Merengue was the only one who showed up to Angus’ birthday, other than myself. He’s a tough guy with a gold heart and she’s a softie who sees his own soft side. It’s a perfect anime couple.

lolly and dobie, but in a best friend way! they are the absolute cutest, they copy each others catchphrases, run around together, talk and hangout with eachother, it’s like dobie had a late wife and lolly remind him of her so they are like best friends!
specifically a conversation i remember was lolly had found a four leaf clover and gave it to dobie because she saw him as her best friend on the island. i absolutely love them!
