Do you ship any of your villagers?

Ever since I was a kid and started my own town on the GameCube version, I?d always secretly ship my villagers together. Back then, my Big Ship was Peanut x Kiki. They were both starter villagers, and they both lived in the same acre. I?d always see them together, swapping shirts and making each other sing, and so I thought they just had to be dating. Even now, it feels weird for me to see one of them in someone else?s town without the other. (Plus they look so cute together... like.... I love the pink and black color combo...)

Now, in my new leaf town, I like to pretend Octavian and Marina are secretly dating each other, but they?re too embarrassed to let on to it. So whenever I see them interacting / visiting each other?s homes / standing near each other, I get really excited and take a picture.

I?d love to hear what villagers you guys ship in your own towns (if any lol)! I?m sorry if this thread already exists, I just couldn?t find it sndksksksks

I have a few couples/ships!

Solace:

Flurry x Hamphrey -- paired by the river with their zen garden
Lolly x Kabuki -- paired by the ocean ledge tending the bamboo farm
Peanut x Marshal -- paired by the cafe, they're the trendy couple!
Savannah x Rodeo -- Rodeo crushes over Savannah, but she may have eyes for Papi!

Lumiere:

Dotty x Punchy -- they're always trying to match when they found out they have the same fur color, frienship or more?
Agnes x Rasher -- Rasher's had eyes for her ever since she moved in; she's a tough nut to crack, will he ever win her over?
Lopez x everyone -- he's a flirt, and doesn't see himself settling down anytime soon lol

I've shipped a few couples in my town.

I had Coach and Nana as starters and Nana always talked about Coach, asked me to bring Coach to her house and then got upset when he left too quickly, and things like that. So in my head, I pictured Nana as having a crush on Coach, but he was completely oblivious. Now that I've moved them out, they're both hanging out on Main St and I often see them together, so I like to think that Nana is finally getting somewhere.

Hugh and Mint were also among my starters and I decided to keep them as permanent villagers. Initially, I didn't notice anything between them, but as time passes, they've become a lot closer. I caught this picture of them taking an evening stroll together one night. I thought it was so sweet. Who knows? Maybe it's friendship...maybe it's something more?



Lastly, Paula seems obsessed with Grizzly. She mentions him in our conversations almost every day...usually because he made fun of her catchphrase, house, clothing, etc and she wants my help to fix it. She's so concerned with making Grizzly like her, but he never talks about her. I caught her visiting him one day. She looks so happy...Grizzly not so much. LOL

I definitely ship Kiki and Rudy in my town. One day, I delivered a gift to Rudy (from Kiki). It was a shirt---the reggae tee. I guess they go to reggae concerts/enjoy listening to reggae in general? xD Rudy has changed out of that shirt but he displays it in his house. That shirt is a constant reminder to me that they are totally together.

I don't ship any villagers in my town, but I do have Fauna, Fuchsia, and Diana all in my town living near each other and I like to think that they're sisters. They all have different personalities.

I am a little sad that the villagers only "ship" themselves with villagers of the opposite sex. Haha I personally think Bam x Lopez is pretty cute in my town but they keep mentioning other villagers.

They look so similar. I have them both in my town and recently they've BOTH decided to wear the same clothing! So I keep mistaking one for the other! cuties.
