This may sound like a weird question, but just bare with me. Anyways I think Mint and Marshal would go pretty good together. I saw Mint at Marshal?s house and he was like ?don?t tell anybody that Mint is here?. Mint has also asked me to give a gift to Marshal, and when he got it he was like ?she knows me so well!? Marshall has also asked me to return something to Mint. Could they just be friends? Maybe. But for now I will ship them so UWU

Not my villagers, but I do ship Teddy and Panacetti from my sisters town. They constantly chat with each other, give each other gifts, go to their houses, then ONE DAY Panacetti threw a major hit at Teddy, gifting him a BABY BEAR. Teddy said he doesn't hate it nor love it. He actually already had a baby bear in his house.
I don't think it's weird~ I like imagining scenarios for my villagers! Either based on conversations we've had, their environment, or on their design!
I don't think any of my villagers would hit it off too well at first. I've considered Deirdre and Kabuki, because I think it would start out as the two hating each other (Kabuki being the town's lonely grump and liking things quiet, whereas Deirdre is wild and obnoxious), but maybe they could warm up to each other over time! I feel Freya and Kabuki could have also had a past fling, but it didn't work outcuz Kabuki is angry grump and now she teases him about it. I think Freya would have gotten over it within a second, but she likes to torture him~ in the end, she's probably his closest companion as a sassy big sister figure.
Other than Kabuki, I don't think anyone else would be romantically interested in another villager within my town. I have other stories for everyone else tho. :3

I do! I accidentally TT'd to Sprinkle's birthday and ended up walking in on her party. Zucker just moved in a few days before and they had already hit it off and he was at the party! TBH i know something is up with those two because they are always hanging out together 
but i just like to ship because it gives the game more life. In my Wild World game when i was younger, I always wanted Bones to be my boyfriend (LOL)!

I actually ship Mint with Hugh in my town. At first, I never would have imagined the two of them as more than friends, but they've been in my town since the beginning and the more time that passes, the more I see their relationship grow. They hang out at each other's houses, send each other gifts and mention each other in conversation. Just the other day, Hugh was upset because Mint made fun of his catchphrase, so he wanted a new one to impress her. I also caught them taking a stroll together one night. How cute!

I personally don't like to ship any of my villagers. I don't have any problem with those who do, but I like to imagine my villagers as friends rather than lovers.

In Clover, I used to ship Genji with Rosie because they were together so often.
Bam talked about Merry all the time in my first NL town; they were both starters and I'd always get dialogue from him where he saw an image of Merry floating by after doing a bunch of cartwheels (never got that dialogue from him after Merry moved away () or from any other jock villager), plus he mentioned a bunch of times when they went shopping together and stuff. Bam also attended Merry's birthday parties (can't remember if Merry went to Bam's). I always thought he had a huge crush on her, but Merry didn't seem to return the sentiment, I think she just liked being friends. 
I still think they'd be a cute couple, though.

Hamlet told me today that he and Sylvana recently went shopping together and he "got his lovely kitchen on." Now I ship them. x3
