I generally sell bugs I catch that aren't as valuable when going beetle hunting to Leila.

Yeah, I sell some to her. The poor gal doesn't seem to have many friends, so I try to play with her when I go bug hunting.

Anything I can't be bothered to bring back, I'll sell. takes less time than releasing them one by one. It's also a decent gauge of pricing, if you can't remember what bugs are worth and don't have the Internet. Anything she'll buy over 80 bells should go home with you, or 100 if you're picky.

I sell seashells to her whenever I'm looking for giant clam shells.

Yeah, I generally make 3 full trips around the island, which gets me a few extra bugs or fish, and she gets the least valuable ones.

She's probably got a couple hundred goliath beetles stashed around somewhere.

Once I accidentally sold her my whale shark.OOPS!!! I got like, 300 bells for it. I would get 13,000 from Reese. Good thing I don't need bells :/

Btw, she only gives 5% of Reese's value

I usually only sell to her if I end up with extra bugs or items, and my storage basket is full. That way the extra bugs and junk aren't released and wasted, and I at least get a little from them.
