Do you replay video games?

Only if I liked the game in the first place. There are a few that I’ve played once and then got rid of once I was done because I had no interest in playing them again. And then there are those that I will constantly restart just to experience the entire game again like Pokémon or Zelda.

Not really if they're purely storydriven. Also moreso when I had a smaller backlog, like I think I played through Stardew Valley four times back in the day, before the cinema was added at least.

I do - usually either if I just like it enough, or if I'm hyperfixated and feel a near-constant urge to engage with it in some way.
I've played through a lot of the Pokémon games more than once, and have also played Portal 2 and Undertale more times than I can count!

All the time. I love going back to my favorites whenever I get that particular itch. It's great I have so many fun games to choose from, lots of variety. It gives me great peace of mind knowing they're just there, and all of them still work too. Nowadays it's tough getting into new, modern games because most of the time they just suck. Take a remake, for example. It seems now more than ever devs just want to change almost every little thing of their game rather than respect and uphold the originals, in fear of upsetting a certain group of people or whatever.

If I want to play good Pokémon, I can just pop in HeartGold or OmegaRuby, FireRed or Platinum, White/White 2 or even Sun as I genuinely really enjoyed Gen 7. If I want to play Mario, I have lots of options to choose from such as Super Mario 3D World on Switch, TTYD, the GBA classics, Super Mario 64 DS, etc.

I also own every Zelda game except for A Link Between Worlds, Four Swords/Four Swords Adventures, Triforce Heroes, Hyrule Warriors and Age of Calamity. I love replaying Wind Waker and Link's Awakening 💗

But yes, I adore replaying games.

I do! Once I beat something, I don't touch it for years and then sometimes I get in the mood to play it again so I'll create a new save. I'm currently playing Omega Ruby, even though I've played gen 3 a million times already.

Yes
If I really enjoyed the game and it isn't just story and or just exploration as the majority of the game I will replay it. I will even replay puzzle games since I have memory problems.
If I liked the game and never finished the game but I want to finish the game I will restart the file and see how far I get.

I do replay Pokemon games, I think I've beaten the Unova Pokemon games 7 times (all games combined) and Pokemon Heartgold twice. Also not sure if it counts, but each rhythm game I beat, I don't really start a new file but replay all the songs over and over (Mostly Taiko no Tatsujin and the Rhythm heaven games, I did start a new file on Osu Tatakae Ouendan for the DS though.)

It depends the game. I had to restart all my Switch data TWICE (long story), and most my Switch games I didn't mind replaying. It was fun. :) Some games however, like some Pokemon games I have are slog-fests so I don't bother (specifically looking at gen 7 and 8 cause I don't have any Pokemon main-line games after gen 8).

Well some games never really end, so there are always some I play over and over. But if we're just talking about games with a limited length and a set ending, only when there's a remake or rerelease. I'm a huge fan of those when it comes to games I really enjoyed and haven't played in a long time. As for the original version of older games though, I've rarely replayed those. Only if I accidentally lost the save and wanted to revisit it. Usually there's just too many newer games that get my attention instead.

When I was a kid I would replay through games more, but perhaps due to the number of games at my disposal now I rarely replay games that have a definitive end anymore. Open ended games like AC I’ll continue to pick up again once every so often.

I don't play many video games. However, I've replayed Red Dead Redemption 2 at least a dozen times.

Sometimes! I've replayed ocarina of time a few times, and recently restarted ace attorney: miles edgeworth investigations. I'm technically in the middle of a second time of playing Denki puzzle blocks on my psp :^) I usually only replay if I really enjoy the game

I do but only games I loved. I think I replayed Grandia at least 10 times over the past 20 years or so. Also FFX, Suikoden II, gen 1 and 2 Pokemon, Ocarina of time and majoras mask, Witcher III, KCD, Yakuza... Just a few I replayed.

I replay games a lot. When I can’t think of a new game to try, usually rather than spending money and taking a gamble, I go and replay a game I know I loved. For instance, I’ve played through Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door a minimum of five times.

It depends on the game, but not really anymore. I did as a child, I played Kirby’s epic yarn so many times 😂 but it just feels kind of pointless to replay and I don’t have that much time anymore

Yes. I'm actually a big fan of remasters and remakes for that reason.

I've replayed the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy many times over and very much hope the remaster rumours are true!

All the time. Usually replay a few games every year. Just recently I finished a no-continue (or 1CC for those that know) Streets of Rage 2 run on the Sega Genesis.

I'd say it depends on the type of game for me. I go back and replay Mario games fairly often, mostly the 3D Mario games. I've played though Odyssey three or four times, for example. Some other games I've replayed are Pikmin games, Pokémon games, and Banjo-Kazooie. I think I'm less likely to replay games where the story is the main focus. For games like Animal Crossing, I'm more likely to make one save and stick with it rather than ever restarting and/or making a new save. I've only had one island for New Horizons. Stardew Valley is an exception though, as I've restarted/replayed that one multiple times.
